Blimey that was a close call glad you’re eye is ok, I used to absolutely love ferreting did it for a couple of decades but once i got my rimfire and was bagging 30-200 rabbits over a weekend I decided to sell al the ferrets long nets and finders, the good thing is if i miss ferreting now i can watch you guys on TH-cam 😅👍

Love ferreting , miss my black whippet and terriers . Jaf your like most dedicated ferreters dive on a rabbit whatever 👌. Does my back no good at 64 lol but still do it .

Prime example of why its vital to wear eye protection at all times. Me personally, even in my warehouse job I wear a pair of transparent safety glasses because you just never know when you'll need them, even when I cycle home i have them on because what if a stone gets chipped up from a car tyre and hits you straight in the eye then your blind. Or in this case jumping into a bush to catch your dinner you could come home a blind man. Glad you where fortunate to walk away from this with minimal damage.
