It's about 2 hours from tokyo (or so) on the Shinkansen. It's a smaller town and deer roam around and you cat feed and pet them. There are so many things!
+Alina Mcarthur I went last May for 25 days. Tickets - 1300, Everything else 700. The whole thing was like 2000 bucks. Stay in hostels though, they cheaper, you meet awesome friends, and the accommodations are really quite nice actually. Save up 3-5k in case your tastes get spendy (and by that I don't mean food, the food there is quite cheap/tastey/healthy). I never went to Universal Studios or Disney Land Japan.
