No ako kasi balak ko pag na ngangailangan na talaga ako dun talaga ko hihingi ng help sa parents pero as long as kaya naman ng sweldo ko as a aircraft mechanic ang fliying school di ako hihingi

Attention mga gusto maging piloto. Mag iingat kayo dahil may mga flying school na nirerequire yung mga estudyante nila mag padding ng mga flight logs nila, lalo pagdating sa solo flight time kasi daw bawal mag solo cross ayon sa patakaran nila. Kapag may flying school na may ganyang patakaran, maghanap na kayo ng ibang flying school dahil illegal ang ganyang patakaran. Yung mga ganyang klaseng flying school, hindi lang pera ang ninanakaw sa inyo, pera at saka yung mga best experiences na pwede niyo maranasan bilang student pilot ang ninanakaw nila mula sa inyo. Hindi ako magbibigay ng pangalan ng mga flying school na may ganitong patakaran, kayo nang bahala mag comment dahil ayaw ko siraan yung mga flying school na yun, ang gusto ko lang ay para lang malaman ng mga gusto maging piloto na may ganitong klaseng mga flying school para mag ingat sila at para din sa kapakanan nila. Ayaw ko kasi maging dehado sila sa training at lalong ayaw ko sumabit sila dahil lang false records yung mga flying records nila. Ang padding kasi, hindi lang sa pandaraya ng total flying time eh, pag dinaya mo yung solo time(halimbawa, nilagay mo solo time yung dual time mo) okaya pag dinaya mo yung route(pag yung mga local flights mo ay nirecord mo as cross country flights), padding na din yun kaya parang awa niyo na, pag aralan niyo muna ng mabuti yung mga flying school at mag research kayo ng masinsinan at magtanong kayo sa mga kakilala niyo kung kakailanganin bago kayo mag enroll.

You just dont feel it and believe , it will still depend kung kaya ba ng parents mo ang expenses...its the reality. Dreams do come true, but not all. Kung wala kang budget, there are other ways to achieve it like joining the airforce, etc.etc. But kung hindi ka naman naka pass sa entrance qualification ng airforce at wala ka ding budget, maybe you are meant for something else..Success = prayer + hardwork + the right circumstances in your current situation. (luck)
This got me so inspired that I'm taking my online groundschool next week.. hope my journey becomes as fruitful as yours
I called Strike Wing Aviation Training Center, Inc. to inquire about the particulars to acquire a PPL course and I was astound to learn that the ground course is quite cheap (40k) for 12 courses, 15k for simulator training, but the actual flight lessons cost a staggering 200-300k. No wonder that only a few have finished such course; it’s quite costly. Flying is my passion, but in this case, I have to finish my law degree first then find a job and save some money for it; I can’t study on both courses at once due to financial and time constraints. Fingers crossed.

I don’t want to ruin dreams but connection or kapit is also essential lalo na if papasok ka ng airlines, lahat ng piloto na kilala ko onti lang walang kapit pero if walang kapit hirap sila lalo na if onti pa hours nila. My parents actually spend 4M to 5M just for 400+ hrs only which medyo di sulit. But goodluck guys! Safe skies!
Kapit is not required. They prefer attitude, skills and experience to hire pilots. Yung kapit na yan noong unang panahon pa yan ng aviation kaya maraming accident. Nowadays di na yan applicable. Mas pipiliin pa rin syempre yung applicant na walang kapit pero may alam compared sa may kapit na walang skills. Isa ako sa naging airline pilot na walang kapit. Nagapply ako sa isang company na walang kakilala kahit isa, kahit security guard di ko kilala. At the end nakapasa ako at airline pilot na ngayon

I feel sorry for all the pilots ngayon. Thousands have been stood down or terminated dahil sa pandemic. With the airline industry not expected to fully recover in 2-3 years, the future of pilots, flight attendants and everyone in the airline industry looks gloomy. Sobrang laki na nang difference now. 😢 172 costs 12k+ pesos per hour in our school and they don’t use 152 💔 Can’t wait to be a successful pilot like ate Chezka someday and make my parents proud para naman makabawi na ako sa mga sacrifices nila. ❤️

After I watched this I'm planning on going back to my original plan which is to pursue VDM first then pag kaya ko na talaga tustusan yung gastos na yan e pupursue ko din siya, soonest!
Gusto ko talaga sana na mag pilot nalang agad kaso ayaw pa ng pera sa akin. E dedicate ko nalang muna yung years na sana sa flying school, sa VDM nalang muna. I also want to have the knowledge with medicine and maybe someday I could be both. Bahala nalang siguro kung matagal pa, basta I'll make my dream possible.

Please do intense and thorough research before you do because there are flying schools which prohibit students to fly solo and cross country flights. That requirement is illegal and they falsify their students' flight logs which is also illegal. I don't want your brother to have padded or false flight records and I'm sure you don't want that too.

To all aspiring please familiarized the cockpit panel buttons for autopilot just below the frontshield example V NAV, L NAV ,APP, IAS/MACH, INIT REF etc..that controls and represents the altitude, speed, knots blah blah blah auto breaks, and for the handling is engaged bar, parking brakes,trust levers, and the flaps control numbering from 2 5 9 15 25 30 for landing blah blah to many to mention 😂 start with this and the rest will follow on school. David Clark's headset is cool and matibay tlga! Back in 2012, I had an opportunity to visit their factory in Worcester, MA, USA. I'd seen in my own eye how they assemble all their headset, it's pretty cool how they do it.

It's my dream to become a pilot but after watching this video it's really impossible for me to become one HAHAHAHAHAHA the first reason for that is mahirap lang kami, my father earn less than 20K a month and lima kaming magkakapatid, and the second is I have a low grades, it's impossible for me to get a scholarship HAHAHAHAHAHA. Siguro mag cacabin crew nalang ako 😂

For you to gain flying hours the most common experience you can get is to become flight instructor. Other opportunities like cargo pilot, charter pilot, spray pilot or medevac pilot. My advice for you during training is enjoy. Just enjoy what you are doing and enjoy flying

Whew!!! I'm not there in the sky yet pero nalulula na ako sa training fee of Pilot Course. 😭 But that financial won't hinder my dream of becoming a Pilot someday. That mostly 2M costs of Pilot training for short span of time is already 5years of Medicine course and specialization. Don't know what to choose best between Medicine and Aviation but my heart is in the sky ever since. 😔👨✈️🌏✈❤

Ma’am I beg to disagree with you on the practical flight training. One tends to regress from skills if there is a big gap in between flight training time. The student becomes “rusty”. I would recommend saving for the entire flight training and to fly as frequent as possible each week. And by the way, 40 hours flight time is the minimum for quick learners. But, studies show that flight training for an average student is 70-80 hours to pass the private pilot check ride alone. After that, the other training is not that hard since you already have the basic skills. Keep your wings level. P.S. There are many pilot graduates each year and few aircrafts. Many pilots, left or right seat, tend to retire at a later age. So, how can young pilots move up? Wonder how many pilots are unemployed or have given up on their career? This is just my opinion as a pilot myself.
Jones Arno.... you are lucky man being a pilot lot.... im a graduate of aircaft mechanic stepping stone to become a pilot but ended up as a car mechanic outside the country Philippines. From the start is hard to accept, time goes by i start to love repairing cars. Ang nakakalungkot na parte ng buhay ko pagkatapos ng trabaho lagi pumapasok sa isip ko ang pagpipiloto. I never dreamed nor imagined that I will be part of an aviation industry in this day and time but I ever closed my door for all the possibilities that it may happen someday . I am a former OFW for so many years and work in Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Middle east.Currently working as Aircraft Test Tech - Avionics at the biggest Airline Manufacturing in the world in Seattle where 777X and 777 legacy is made and fortunately what I do. Hardwork , Inspiration and dedication will lead you to where to want to be. Everything is possible, just believe in yourself.

yung pangarap ko na kinalimutan ko na dati pa nakakamiss yung mga ganitong pangarap ko ending sa bank na ako nagwowork tapos nagpapalipad nlang ako ng aircraft sa RFS MFS. Mkapagtry lng ako ng simulator na may actual cockpit kahit isang beses lng masaya na ako ^_^

Like what you've said, from 0 to commercial pilot is 1.8M. Same lang po ba ang learnings sa mga flight school na nagre-range 3M-5M ang fee? Ang layo po kasi ng difference. Sana po mapansin niyo 'to. :)
