Que baita animação esse show! Não é da minha época mas eu sinto um coisa inexplicável ouvindo essa banda, e muitas outras da época... Parece até que vivi. Como eu queria ter visto isso
1 año y 9 meses después de este concierto en Brasil, tocaron el 23 de Julio 1999 en el Paseo de Los Turistas, Puntarenas, Costa Rica y luego de escuchar la totalidad de la presentación, estoy seguro que forma parte de la misma gira, mismo Setlist y si no me equivoco hasta el mismo vestuario. Sólo recuerdo que Colin Hay estaba un poco más pasadito de kilos, pero su presentación fue impecable. Para los ticos que estuvimos ese viernes y buscamos revivir esa memoria, esto es lo más cercano que pueden encontrar. ¡Salud con una Imperial!

Excellent. thanks. I've seen Colin Hay solo a couple of times in recent years. If you get the chance to check him out do. He's got good newer material, and it's good to hear the old songs in a smaller setting. I miss Greg Ham's flute and sax though.

That guitar solo by Collin James Hay is Fucking Amazing on "No sign of yesterday " that solo is badass and rivals many other band guitar solos! Who fucking cares he looks Metal with long hair and don't fit the band !! That Fucking dude can play and took a beautiful song and took it up 30 notches !!!!

I would guess that Colin didn't mind the young guy adding some energy to the show. It makes it easier for him to just hang back and concentrate on the songs.
Agreed, his playing just destroyed the music for me. All chops no class.
i just read elsewhere on line that the guitarist (at some point in the past) nearly had a physical fight with the singer because he wouldn't let him do shredding solos and that now he allowed to and that they are a metal band now, so i was like 'wtf!? that sounds stupid' that's why i came here and yes, shredding is crap lol
he is ok at building the solo up though however yes, it is ott and rock guitar tones suck, i remember these guys from the 80's but they are great aren't they, this is an impressive show, they remind me of Squeeze for some reason..

ok all u men at work fans i saw them in 99 at the metro george st sydney and Greg Ham during the who can it be now sax solo Greg Ham came right down into the crowd in the front were i happened to be standing and sax soled right beside me i was in MATW heaven who can it be now =Greg Ham on the sax and in the crowd on the u tube concert footage he is always on stage i witnesssed a rare mommment !!!

Estive no Olympia em 1997 vendo a banda. Inesquecível.
Brazilian audience always had a huge connection with Men at Work. FM radio stations played a lot of stuff of the band. It is magical. "Down Under" was a massive hit, during those days. I do not know whether it was the record label investing a lot or if it was something else. And most of people does not understand a single word of what he's saying. This is all about music!

Ahh eu choro de ver um vídeo desse, eu tinha apenas 7 anos.....o tempo é traiçoeiro demais. Só recordações . Eterno Greg Ham, o cara era um gênio, tocava de tudo: teclado, sax, gaita, xilofone, etc

Wow, it's like they never broke up in the first place. This is definitely where Colin lives, on a big stage in front of big audience as the leader of a great band.
Colin Hays has such a distinctive voice, and Ham hasn't missed any licks. Thanks for uploading this, great stuff!

Culture has completely stagnated. This concert happened 27 years ago, and no one on stage would appear out of place walking down the street today.
Now, count back 27 years from 1983, when Men at Work were at their peak. 1956?!?! Poodle skirts? Pompadour hairstyles? Those people would stick out like a sore thumb! So would a lot of 60s fashion.
But, for the last 30 years, we've been stuck with jeans and t-shirts. Sad.
