The facial resemblance (minus the features she gets from her dad's side), the way she didn't want Emilia to see her face at first. The way she teared up and called her a "bad girl" like Fortuna. Etc...just the way she acted in that scene. Might be a stretch but I dig it.
There's more to it than just that. Of the seven known witches, two (Satella and Sekhmet) are non-human so they're excluded. Echidna's excluded because it would conflict with everything we know about her backstory. AndI will fight anybody who argues that the literal child is a viable possibility. We later do get more backstories of the other witches, mostly incompatible with being Emilia's mother, but _one_ just happens to have a connection with the elves...
But didn't Minerva die 400 years ago? Echidna confirmed at the start of S2 that the Witch of Envy indeed devoured the rest of them, so it's not just a legend that grew erroneous over time. Meanwhile Emilia's childhood flashback apparently took place 100 years ago. But anyway, Minerva says she knew Emilia's mother very well. Which would mean that, even if the mother isn't Minerva herself, she somehow lived at least 300 years despite being human (since Emilia's father is an elf). I guess that's possible in a fantasy world full of different kinds of magic, but I'd really like some more answers about Emilia's lineage 😅

Only through side material and certain scenes here and there that explain how she went from hating him to loving him during the 10 years she's been in his service. It's kinda muddled now with Rem being erased but those feelings were still there before then. If you're not into it, that's fine because it's on purpose. Most of the cast don't get it either. Minerva's Wrath is toward pain, death, and such things. That's why her "attacks" only heal people. She's utterly incapable of hurting people because of how much she hates it. The Witches in general aren't straight representations of their sins like traditional uses of this trope. Echidna already said that she had gathered the souls of the other witches to dwell in her Dream Palace. The relationship between the Witches and Satella is meant to be confusing but there was more context that was cut from the anime. There's a cut content series you can watch from AniNews for season 2 episode 12-13 that goes over that info.
To add to your speculation about one of the Witches being Emilia's mom, a lot of discussion points to it actually being Minerva. She starts crying when Emilia says that Fortuna was her "real mom." To further that, she "promised" not to tell Emilia too much about her actual parents - this could be sorta like when people don't want a biological parent to contact an adopted child. It would/could upset the familial bond Emilia had with Fortuna to some extent.

Some things assume that you have seen the frozen bonds ova so if not dont read further ^^ Its pretty much confirmed that echidna is the one puck made a deal with in the ova. Echidna is dead for 400 years so Puck was alive/made a contract with echidna this long ago while Fortuna was not dead yet (the flashback this season was slightly over 100years ago) Betty also calls puck brother and betty is 400years old which fits the same timeline Puck also stated that he looked for emilia for centuries. Emilia was frozen for roughly one centurie so Puck must have atleast searched for 100years since before Emilia got frozen so it would not make sense for it to be Fortuna if Puck was searching for emilia for atleast 100years while fortuna is alive and next to Emilia. A slight side not that Puck is male and fortuna female but there would be workarounds for this. But those are some easy ways to disprove that fortuna is puck, its impossible timeline wise because they had to have been alive at the same time. There is also another theory that is very likely to be true which would make it impossible for fortuna to be puck. I wont go into detail in case you did not read the novel past season 2. If you did you should know what happens in arc5 and what I am talking about This also if you like theorycrafting begs the question... If Puck is 400years old and was looking for emilia already from there. And slightly over 100years ago emilia was just a super young looking child emilia has to have been alive 400years ago which does not fit the narrative we see in the show with her being a very young child. This is also supported by the fact that it was stated multiple times that emilias mother is a witch and they all died 400years ago. And if they died 400years ago they would have to deliver emilia before they died. Just something to think about ^^

Its normal that high tier beings in ReZero are capable of killing fodders with mere presence or sight, Tappei mentioned on old QnA that its sort of sanity point check. Like, inferior being simply can't keep living in the presence of superior one, they die or at least get suppresed heavily simply because their bodies can't stand presence of eldritch horror sorta thing nearby. Technically, every competent combatant has similar thing, Garf and old Wilhelm as examples - when they're seriously emanating fighting will, most of normal people won't be able to even move, standing in place with every part of the body shaking in fear.
The dust explosion is a real thing... it is really dangerous and the reason why places that have a lot of dust in the environment need to use all the electric systems with explosionproof materials... even a spark can ignite dusts like flour and the derivates from handling all kinds of grains, saw dust, a lot of mineral dusts... BUT it is not that easy to make it happen either... it happens often just by coincidence... Also since it is simple "modern" understandable science that looks cool and detructive... it is one of the not so common but still tropes in isekai anime... Which it is another trope betraying subaru's expectations again...
I think the dust exploson is a Toaru reference, not an "isekai trope", If any other light novel mentions it, it most likely is a reference to the dust explosion the character Accelerator made in vol3 of the To Aru Majutsu no Index novels.

Also means completion of spell was done after echidna died, and she would die just after giving beako the hope of "that person" A witch was vampire, Camilla seems the best fit as that's literally the name of a fictional vampire queen in our historical folklores, just like Dracula. Minerva, was wrathful about the war torn world. So before Satella, the only war of world's proportion I can think of is the demi-human war which humans won. It's quite possible Minerva liked elves, who are demi humans, and the interaction making it seem she was Emilia's mom (with dress design and other similarities). Who knows if Satella was born half-human half-elf after the war & caused destruction of (half of the) world after that?
Even if Rosewal was indirectly responsible for the massacre of the Onis... He was still the only support both her and Rem had... the one protecting her sister, the one offering her a chance for revenge at the direct responsible people of the massacre... the one always caring for her giving him treatment for her missing horn... As they grew up... Rosewall did not make her fall in love on purpose but it kinda makes sense...
You're right in that Ram was able to see the good side of Roswaal. A condition of her illness, her broken horn is that she needs to be by Roswaal's side almost all the time to receive mana treatment so she doesn't die. This constant closeness combined with Ram's own high perceptive abilities in reading others grants her the best position to observe Roswaal in those rare times when he's not being guided by his Tome. In those times Ram noticed that Roswaal sincerely does good things and betters the lives of the people under his domain. This is why she considers that tome to be his source of evil. Roswaal has also been extremely honest with Ram about his desires, one of which is that he is really counting on Ram to punish him for all his evil deeds when his goal is completed. That's what he means by the whole 'depend on the demon, die by that demon' thing. Roswaal is not someone who see's a happy ending for himself, in fact he would think such a thing a travesty of justice. Very surprisingly Roswaal is internally a good person who does absolutely horrible, unforgivable, and wretchedly evil things while somehow even in those horrendous acts never manages to corrupt that good inner nature of his. Instead he is at constant odds with it and suffering the guilt of his actions while dreading the next he has to commit. Combine Ram's observation of this and her kind, nurturing nature and it makes sense why she would fall for Roswaal. A theme between both the Twins is that they fall for heavily broken self-loathing men and try to help them.
Ram had been living with Roswaal for years as she was very young when he took both the sisters to live in the mansion. So they do have long history together. Elsa lost her regeneration after Garfiel bit her in the neck, why did that happen. I still have no clear answer to that as there is only guesses, like Garfiel is like werewolf (werebeast) and in many lores werewolf bites can injure vampires.
Elsa wasn't a vampire, she was a curse doll, basically the curse placed on her would turn her into a mindless husk until she would kill her target, but in her case she retained her personality. The regeneration just has a limit if she is killed quickly in succession, the bite here just indicated that the limit was reached and she stopped healing. In the novel she does turn into the husk afterwards and goes after Subaru in the mansion, eventually burning down to ash

Hector was the witch of melancholy... except they used another word in japanese since similarly to english, Witch is a word only used for females... yet there is no reason to believe the people with that "witch" title would be just females... I think the translation said Devil of melancholy but that was a "mistake" on translation since the word for witch is MAjou... with ma meaning "devil" and jou meaning woman... but Hector was called a MAjin, agian "ma" meaning Devil and JIN meaning person instead of the woman in witch... I think the correct word for a male witch should be a "warlock"... but the word is rarely used in japanese and here they used a gender neutral Devil person instead of man or woman... so the subs also went wonky...
echidnas face was hidden in flashbacks so what im guessing is that either the face she shows in the tea party is younger or just a different face entirely also elsa would be best girl if she wasnt evil that joker face she makes does things to me

IN the novels that was not the final end for Elsa... even after being crushed by the hippo and burned by the fire around it while the hippo burned away... her charred remains were still crawling around until she found subaru and then she attacks him... but i will continue with what happened after we reach that point with subaru...

I still have no clear answer to that as there is only guesses, like Garfiel is like werewolf (werebeast) and in many lores werewolf bites can injure vampires.
Elsa wasn't a vampire, she was a curse doll, basically the curse placed on her would turn her into a mindless husk until she would kill her target, but in her case she retained her personality. The regeneration just has a limit if she is killed quickly in succession, the bite here just indicated that the limit was reached and she stopped healing. In the novel she does turn into the husk afterwards and goes after Subaru in the mansion, eventually burning down to ash

@@thamor4746 I assumed you wanted to know, and it's not really a spoiler, because it's cut content that will not be addressed further in the anime (most likely). It's also translation errors, because Garfiel called her "kyuuketsuki", which could be mistakenly translated as a vampire, but actually means a bit of a different thing

Hector was the witch of melancholy... except they used another word in japanese since similarly to english, Witch is a word only used for females... yet there is no reason to believe the people with that "witch" title would be just females...
I think the translation said Devil of melancholy but that was a "mistake" on translation since the word for witch is MAjou... with ma meaning "devil" and jou meaning woman... but Hector was called a MAjin, agian "ma" meaning Devil and JIN meaning person instead of the woman in witch...
I think the correct word for a male witch should be a "warlock"... but the word is rarely used in japanese and here they used a gender neutral Devil person instead of man or woman... so the subs also went wonky...

Not at all. Basically Roswal book told him the Oni Village would be attacked and about Ram.
He waited for the village to be destroyed before saving Ram. He didn't go there to kill Ram and Rem. He went there to save Ram. The book didn't mention Rem.
Which created the theory that Pandora made Ram have a twin so that Ram would be born with only one horn, as Ram if she had even 1 horn would be top 5 strongest characters in the verse
IN the novels that was not the final end for Elsa... even after being crushed by the hippo and burned by the fire around it while the hippo burned away... her charred remains were still crawling around until she found subaru and then she attacks him... but i will continue with what happened after we reach that point with subaru...

Well, we saw Elsa at daylight, so I guess Vampires work a bit different in that world. Maybe to a point were they´re barely similar.

Yes. That is what GARFIEL calls her. That isn't what she actually is and as far as we know, actual vampires don't exist in Re Zero and are just what people mistook Cursed dolls as since one of the cursed dolls drank someone's blood.

Ram is the most mature character and straightforward ram got way better this season for me. Her loving roswaal makes alot of sense when you know her backstory in arc 6
@@starkillahx it’s not but it’s implied in how it’s worded. Even looking back on season 1 it’s retrospectively shown/implied she does before REM is taken away. Either way Roswaal takes full credit for the death of her village and losing her horn with and without rems memory
