I am biased because I love ateez, but at the beginning you said they aren’t live vocals...? As someone who truly knows this group and their sound, it’s evident that most of this cover is live or a mix (as in there is a supporting backtrack, and if you don’t sing the backtrack plays). If it is not “live” they lip synced to a raw vocal recording. I hope that makes sense?? I am not sure, I just feel like I know their recorded vocals vs live. But I appreciate the reaction! Definitely would love to see you guys react to more 😍 TLDR: this is definitely a raw recording of their vocals, but we will never know if the audio of the untouched vocals was live recording in this specific video or previously done. I'm a full blown atiny but I also think this is not live vocal. There are no breathing sounds and the noise, esses, and hums are super minimal. There’s no single stray note and there’s a bit of outotune/vocal editing by the end of san’s long note. There’s clearly mixing involved since their volume is so well balanced (which is a bit hard bc ateez members has very different vocal volume and power for ex jongho and wooyoung). Also the backtrack involved here are not the member’s vocal MR but just a normal back vocal/harmonization for aesthetic purposes. I think this is a studio version or a very polished live. Also the don't say anywhere that it’s live. 🙏🙏

react to “wonderland” performance on kingdom (they did a special version for the show) and then yes you will get really excited on a high note, jongho is one of (if not the best) fourth generation kpop vocalist for sure and ateez one of the best performers

I think those changes go well since they made the song more sexy than happy. I like the mix of genres (when the jazz/lounge instrumentals come is sooo smoothly) srry for my English lol
It's acting while lipsyncing, idols are trained to do that, and some singers can do that perfectly too. To people who's experienced on singing onstage it's pretty obvious which one's pre-recorded and which one's actual live.
