Blood Money is potentially the strongest weapon in the game. You can still 1-shot Raphael on Honor Mode with it. Its just not often used since they patched it so it consumes the gold, rather than have the gold remain lootable.
Flail of ages sounds so good, I actually never got this, will sure try in my current run. Applying chilled is amazing, specially because I specced my Gae with full frost damage gear.
@@JasonDunna Oh, this is very cool, it works like that glaive from act 2 then, I forgot the name - such a good buff - specially for a ranged weapon used by a character with higher initiative who can apply it before Gale has a chance to act in every combat.
Really love Defender Flail on tank character. Here is little story if someone wants to read it: I fell in love in idea of twin Haste and when I stared to play BG3 I had problem with it. If my Sorlock twin it on Astarion and Karlach because he was squishy DP he will lose concentration often. If I replace his gear with defensive once and give him War Caster then he can’t hit anyone. So I decide to have one tank support who will twin haste on two DPS. First I tried Collage of Lore Bard level 6/Sorcerer level 5/ Cleric of Life Domain level 1. For magical secrets I picked Mass Healing Word and Warden of Vitality. It was nice level 12 build but problem was that it was bed through leveling. So I end up with Sorcerer level 5/Cleric of Life Domain level 7. First I pick level 1 Sorcerer because of Proficiency in Con Save, then 5 levels in Cleric, then return to Sorcerer up to level 5 and then rest of 2 levels put in cleric for buffs Death Ward and Freedom of Movement. I know that this not the best build but it’s a lot of fun form me. In first round as Action Twin Haste on two DPS and as Bonus Action Mass Healing Word to give AOE Buff Bless and Baled Word (because of The Whispering Promise ring and The Reviving Hands gloves or Hellrider's Pride early in the game).
IMHO shattered flail should be A tier due to a combination of factors: 1. It's really easy to get. You can have it before your first long rest when you're level 3-4. 2. The healing is a lot it's almost like a healing word every time you hit. Works especially well with barbarians where it's essentially doubled. Healing on a weapon is comparable to extra damage, worse but comparable. 3 Synergy with perhaps of wound closure that's really near it. 4. D6 +2 is arguably better than d8+1 (same avg damage, 5% more hit chance). So IMHO one of if not the best weapon you can get very early in the game.
@@JasonDunna yes and the madness did screw me over from time to time by using abilities or items I didn't want to be used. But: 1) I'm guessing you're giving this to a character that when it attacks it probably wants to keep attacking, you can throw stuff etc before your first attack 2) madness when you miss something and don't have a second attack is a problem that gets a lot less severe after lvl 5 when you get extra attack and for barbarians using reckless attack 3) okay if you get Cc'd and can't attack that's when it gets ugly 4) it's great if you have some easy fights to just regain hp. Like the 1hp Ravens at the start of act 2 or rats is shars gauntlet. Question: Does calm emotions stop madness? Disclaimer: I am not unbiased since this is the weapon I rush for along with unlocking the zhentarim hideout and underdark after my first long rest.
All of the adamantine weapons go into RP tier for me. The opportunity cost of getting them is just too high considering that if you get one of them you forgo getting one of the adamantine armours which are extremely good, while you probably have better weapons than the adamantine ones by the time you can get them anyway.
For sure man, the Heavy one gone with me since the Act 1 to Act 3 and like.....I just change her for the Helldusk and the perceverance I guess!? not sure the name or the translation, but it was I guess the best heavy armor you can buy, I prefer have 2 armors or 1 armor and 1 shield of the adamantine too, makes more sense to me.
Armor of persistence is amazing, my favorite armor in the game. I like it better than the Helldusk armor which technically is the best armor but its ugly hahaha
I'm really liking your tier lists but plz give at least the scant details of where the rarer weapons may be acquired. Don't assume we've all played through it several times and discovered everything out there
Okay I’ll try to list where to get them all. It’s a bit tricky in a 20 minute video mentioning every detail but I try my best. Some of them I’ll explain where to get them but I should try to for all of them I am getting another monitor here soon which will make content creation a bit easier
FLAIL OF THE AGES FLAIL OF THE AGES! I *have* to put that on minsc! actually, in my bg2 game I play as a cleric of Talos (Neutral Evil) and my main weapon is flail of the ages. Thinking about playing that character in bg3? Any good ideas for cleric builds?
Tempest cleric is the best!!! Flail of the ages can buff any main hand weapon you want with the chilled effect 11 Tempest cleric and take one level Wizard for cone of cold, chain lighting and water elemental (alongside your deva) Stack arcane acuity and let rip ⚡️❄️
I didn’t think it was fair to put the absolute best weapon in the game on here because then I would need a few more tiers 😂 Smite paladin could apply 10 stacks of radiating orb, mixed with warlock for 3 attacks or bard for flourish smites
Not sure if you have done a glaives, polearm, and spear video but that would be awesome! Really enjoying the content cheers!
It’s coming soon! Really glad that you’re enjoying the content and thank you for the suggestion!

Oh it is technically the strongest weapon in the game… but at what cost 😂
What bothers me about the Blood of Lathandar is that it is clearly a Morningstar, not a Mace, but it is given the Mace tag and weapon actions.
RIGHT!? It looks so similar to the other morningstars and the Sacred Star looks near identical

The best part, you can apply it to your main hand weapon and then unequip it and you keep the buff
mourning frost would still be a better option
@@christos6014 Mourning frost is S tier but it’s a quarterstaff, love that weapon
@@christos6014 Oh yeah, but GALE is using it. I can strike the target with a cleric using this before to make Gale turn be even stronger.

Rank the best joke weapons.
The reason the S tier exists is for the Salami club
The clown hammer with gortash's clothes work well. likely because gortash is a clown
