Worlds hottest take but I would say echel is easy S tier due in part to the fact that you could bring her and pretty much play anyone else and still survive. I feel like the other characters who are hardcore S tier make her seem like A because of how god tier they are. She can legit save a bad run like no one else can.
Kaguya really is awesome. At M5, it brings the cooldown of her skill down to just 15 seconds. If you give her Shadow Ka's logistic set, she can keep it running with 100% uptime.
Kaguya sole minmax limit is requiring the DPS she is supporting be a Frost Dmg type. While Shadow Ka is generalist, though her signature gun is 60% of the whole support package overall. Ksana Siris is my sole Skill DPS unit, so she will be working a lot until i get either Cherno 5* or they add a new Skill DPS'er worth me putting pull into
I'm a new player and just got to try 5* Haru for the first time and she's soo good! Had a miserable time with 4* Haru so wasn't sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised.
My "discovery" with 4* Haru was that you need to charge her skill to have decent DPS and even then it was not much of a difference than just shooting with the gun. 5* Haru is real fun to use though, I hope to pull her in the oriented banner...
Just want to add my thoughts for new players. this tierlist is relatively flat compared to other games that have crazy power creep. the only real "bad" unit is 4* Haru. 4* Enya is a decent support, and 4* Nita is fun to play early on to get through campaign. for new f2p players, i believe the "C" tier is pretty strong. Both 4* Chenxing with Strawberry Shortcake and 4* Yao with Deep Sea's Call will provide heals and atk buffs, and they'll last you pretty far into 90% of the content.
As a new player (~2 weeks in), I don't understand Pistol Operatives - seem to be reliant on abilities for DPS rather than their weapons, which makes it even more confusing when said operatives have long skill cooldown, like 4*Enya What makes 4*Enya a good support? Honest question, all I'm seeing in her kit is bonus Thermal DMG, which can be also achived with 4*Fritia.... Am I missing something?
@@NGMK for Acacia and Enya, they mainly stay off field. you hit their support button, they do their thing, and it's back to your dps unit. for example, 4* enya's support skill is like an AOE sticky bomb (if you level the neural skill). so you run up to mobs with your dps unit, hit her support button to throw the sticky, then shot them with your dps unit to detonate.
Fritia 5* is still my favourite. She's adorable and she has the Archimedes Death Ray thing going on. Still working on her and Tess' manifestations, though. 4* Fenny is a staple of a lot of my second teams. I haven't levelled up new Fenny yet, but I really want to try that combo out. 4* Fenny is a kind of a one trick pony, but it's a hell of a trick! I'm very curious to see how it'll be boosted by new Fenny.

Almost got Fritia's M3 finally (I started playing last summer, only got back just in time to get Tess off her banner), but Tess is still way, far away from that. Nothing for it but time! You should do a tear list of signature weapons next, of how well they work for their designed character and others and in comparison to their free event version.
If you’re willing to invest a little, Chenxing 4* is S tier imo = she both heals and deals damage while on alt character. Just get her pylons out, and switch…so easy. And is also incredible with Cherno, 5* Chenxing, or Enya. With cherno, you basically kill everything with all the Chaos and Electricity on the field.
Eatchel makes Bosses easy 10 levels early and can beat some bosses by herself if she has her weapon, she is pretty great for new players, even if it is not fast. She also was usefull in the first pokemon like event, not sure if she can still heal them tho (i lost my old account when i had to reinstall and the game just deletes saves when done via launcher...).
Katia is S tier. Perhaps my perception is different cause i got her weapon T2 and she is almost M5 but the ability to switch between AOE and single Target plus not having to reload and also resitence to interrupt adds so much QoL to this character. Plus she benefits from Acacia K the most.
Fenny coronet, and Frit Hush gets real buff by the Fenny SS. At coronet she fixes the ammo reload issues. For Hush, she can help farming the U energy faster using the Blue ammo. The tier list also depends on Manifest and weapon of choice. Some character are just need a lot of investment. Usually older characters needs that more than the newer ones. Some character has a really strong dedicated Orange weapons also. I think Fenny SS vs Cherno Enigma. Like Cherno probably just fine with Purple weapon, but not Fenny. And Oh, those 4* are really strong with the right investment, and weapon choice also. I always think OG Lyfe is strong if you max her. Allow Truth? Not the WIP or Uninvited Adieu? Elemental aside, i think Adieu is the most broken one with 80 ammo in the magazine.
Wait, isn't Fenny SS's blue ammo regenerating S-energy rather than U-energy? Also, if you're building Fenny SS for support, there's purple gun in Skytopia store that enhances her support skill

No, the gun is weaker than the orange one - doesn't provide Fenny with additional attack bonus and bonuses for her support skill are weaker and last only 5sec - it's still better than nothing if you can't pull her gun though
Fenny Coronet id say B tier without Wife Fenny support, A Tier with. Her downfall has always been reload intervals so Wife Fenny's support keeps her skill at max longer while also being able to dish out that SG damage. She's still great for clearing mobs quickly, and definitely usable for bossing without Wife Fenny. Thought expect longer fights and careful dodging needed. Regardless, I still run Coronet on my main team cause I just find her more fun to play than Siris and her sonic the hedgehog gameplay.
Solid list but I would move Mauxir down to A level. I know you love her but thats what I think. Also, Lyfe has always been my favorite and Lyfe IS is fun to play but in my opoinion Cherno is the best operative.

As a relatively new player, I'll need more in-depth explanation as to what makes Kaguya so good - mind you, I only got to check her out in Trial and in campaing, but I don't see the appeal - her normal skill shoots out blade orbiting around her, that I find hard to keep exact distance to have enemies in it's way - melee enemies run through it and get hit once, maybe twice and long distance enemies, well I found it easier to just shoot them. Honestly, I found 4*Acacia to be more playable, so I wonder - what am I missing?
I love that you are not just tiering them as end game. I have paired Fenny Cornet and SS and together they are S tier, but you need to have M1 Cornet. Also I think Tess could easily be S as well, but her skill floor is so high when compared to the other supports A works for her. Also I feel for you with Haru as well, she was the first limited I got and she carried me for so long, but now she just sits on the bench.
Really agree. I love opinion on this tier list too. The game dev are generiously enough to make game mode that everyone can enjoy and take a time with their waifu. Player waifu can clear most contents. Just a few situations that player need to manage strategy or readjust team for their waifu to pass those struggle point. Ranking is just a rank no reward creeping. Some tier list just only aim toward end game. < - - which is not the point of this game and the dev give player enough free digicash to roll for their waifu and provide free operative to support your waifu.

Chexing is sorta the same way, I would of put both with Haru at B. But I still think Fennys good for new players as the selector box. Easer to build than Yao (whos single target and you need to have skill in aiming) , and shes more flexiable at different content. Also access to decent 4star electric shotguns. Which you cant get from the weapon selector box the newbies get. I would of said eatchel a B, but you ahve a good point about her healing keeping you alive for being reckless. Shes just a healing bot now with her rework, better than the 4star healers. Eatchel could of been amazing if they lookd at her rework form a different pov.
Kinda a new player at this point. I do not have the sub machine gun support characters, but it seems Alloy Truth is a genearlly accepted broken item. Should I use the free Gold weapon cache on another copy of Fenny SS's rifle or get Alloy?

to be honest, a tierlist for snowbreak is useless. The game is relatively easy. All 5 star units are useful. Some 4 stars are useful as well Unless you want to challenge the whales in neural sim, you would care about the tier list. But even then, that would require you to invest in the game like whales
Not bad at all, I like it. The list Informs new players about which characters are good for most everything. I too hate that Haru has gone down so much. Maybe a support will come out some time or another like with Fenny.
She is still really strong though I think especially with the right supports but I'd agree she is less powerful than the new characters. On the plus side she will probably get a new wedding variant soon which will make her busted again 🤣
I'd say eatchel should be around B or C. healing isn't really important in this game in my experience. if you're running paradoxical, you can just use med kits. if running neural, you can down bosses faster double damage supports.

I'd not say this is a hot take, Eatchel does make the entire game go on easy mode, and the only 5* dedicated to healing rn.
Eatchel is great and I use her all the time.
She's pretty much a cheat code in every other gamemode that isn't Neural yes
Tbh Fenny in A tier is kinda acurate, she is just a well rounded charater that works on any level. The new fenny just lets her keep up her dps longer.

Chenxing 4* was actually my main carry in the early to mid game. Her turret can stagger and taunt enemy, while providing decent dps.

I finally built my Hush, yep you need M3 on her and Tess. Their sig weapons and LV15 logis for both. The laser for the spider mech wreaks it!

For me the top 3 S tier is Infinite Sight Starshine and Eatchel
Eatchel is so good and cute, she makes everything easier and can help destroy armor for other dps who can't easily do it

Eatchel is the best character for casual players, without a doubt. If you just want to clear content without tryharding, she is perfect.
And I remember there is that one guy on reddit who wrote a long review about Siris saying she's 6.4/10, not meta, is niche and not worth building.

Cherno is broken with Enya (and Tess). She virtually ignores the mechs in neural along with a big chunk of other bosses.
