    Nice review. This product is one of my favorites, easy application and hold is good. The only negative thing is that this product makes your hair feel greasy.

      I’ve never had any issues with greasiness in any way, interesting

      @@SlickBackSunday maybe greasy was the wrong word. You can definitely feel the product in your hair and it is a little unpleasant to the touch. But I would totally recommend this product. It is really good. Maybe it was only my hair type.

    Hi I have fine hair with a middle part haircut. Would you recommend this product for me? I currently use American Crew forming Cream however I’ve found that I want something with a stronger hold. I was thinking of using the cream I already have as a pre styler accompanied by Argan oil 2-3x a week and then the Moroccanoil clay as the main styler. What do you think?
    I know I’m late but would appreciate any help

    Good for my thin/fine hair slick back?

  • @kanishksharma753

    I thin you should not rub your like that with the product. From back to front slight bit of hand movement and then raise the hair. It will help to not let the product go in scalp so there’s no hair issues in the future. Apart from this, you’re doing an awesome review!😊

      If you think rubbing your scalp causes balding you should really look up DHA. Balding is caused via a hormonal response due to testosterone conversion in the body

      @@SlickBackSunday I’m not talking about “rubbing your scalp” or “balding” . I’m talking about putting in the product which is basically wax in your scalp. Ot would damage, that’s what I am talking about. Primarily, only the root should be left alone when using wax.

      Doesn’t change my answer, OB users have been dipping their hair in wax and oil for years with no negative side effects. I’ve been styling my hair this way for 15+ years with zero hair loss. Unsure when the dangerous wax is going to strike!
      If you can find literature stating the negative aspects of wax on the scalp I would happily read it. Additionally, if wax caused baldness the beauty industry would be sued 10 times over by men and women across the world.

    Hi, I have a short fine highly texturised hairstyle. I love the moroccanoil but it does not have any hold for me. Would you recommend the Strong matte styling balm or the normal one? Which one do you use more?

      You may wish to look else where, hard to discern if MM products would differ.

    Good video, but I think you should start with some type of greeting

      Everything is done live, if I forget to do a greeting I don’t stress it too much. Thanks for watching and I’ll definitely try to stay consistent. Cheers!

    Did you experience a little tug and pull when applying this product or it just me? I think it's not as smooth as all the TH-camrs suggest...

    • @SlickBackSunday
      @SlickBackSunday  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That will drastically depend on your hair type and how you prep your hair. I have very fine hair, tug and pull is never a problem for me

    • @makarandkamble8885
      @makarandkamble8885 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SlickBackSunday yeah thanks for that. I have noticed there's much less tug and pull if I gradually increase the amount I apply. Anyway, thanks for uploading this. Pretty informative and helpful!

      Small scoops are always the best option 👍

      I just recently received mine and I'm wondering if mine is somehow dried out over shipment or something because my application certainly wasn't buttery smooth. Instead it had a lot of tug and pull. Every youtube I check out says the exact opposite though, which is very strange because I specifically bought it for the smooth application.
      I read online you are actually supposed to apply it either into damp here or wet your hands a bit before grabbing the clay as it will make the application much smoother. Have you tried out something like that as well? Directly into dry hands and then dry hair is just too much pull for me.
