    Perfect timing Dan! I was just starting to go through the cooling design for the s30. New ideas to consider now👍

    Thanks for this nice bit of information! Only two questions are unanswered:
    1. What about the thermostat? Leave it in or pull it completely out?
    2. What about the OEM waterpump? Block it off or use it as an backup?

    wish you'd do a video on gte coolant routing without a heat matrix, seems to be alot of confusion about how to go about it.

    I thought that main reason for radiator in back is if you hit or crash you can loose coolant and it can make a problems on track :)

    Great info! Also interested in knowing if this setup is supposed to be used in tandem with the stock 2J water pump and which side(feed or return) the electric pump is mounted. Or does it not matter? Thanks!

    So I've got a KA swapped S12 and I bought it after the fact. (It was cheap and I liked it) The guy that did the swap went with crusty Altima fans and they're not pulling the CFM needed to keep anything cool so I grabbed up a clutch fan and a shroud that seems like it'll fit with modification but what are your tips for a custom fan shroud? Should I have an aluminum shop fab one up?

    • @RADIndustries
      @RADIndustries 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +snakezulu7 as long as the shroud is covering the whole surface area of the radiator and the fan fills the area of thevgole in the shroud then it will be good. As far as the CFM the fan is pulling I wouldn't know. Each fan has different specs.

    Maby a dumb quistion , but do u run the stock 2jz waterpump still ? And is the electric pump on the feed or the return side of the engine ?

  • @impulse_media
    @impulse_media 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's hard not to notice the huge variety of cars you have in the shop, among the different levels of drifting, how often does anyone bring a highly modified AE86 into the shop?

    • @RADIndustries
      @RADIndustries 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very seldom do we work on any 86s I think the owners of 86s seem to work on there own cars most of the time, we did work on two so far but that’s it

    Rad video dude! What's the deal with the red Supra in the back? An where do I find them water pumps? I'm mounting a rear radiator on my drift kart. An didn't think the stock pump would be enough to pump that water from the back to the front. It's going to be awhile before I build it because I'm broke AF but it's a dream for me to get out there an have fun an drift one day. I'm obsessed with drifting an rally. But for now I just TH-cam an dream lol shout out from Ohio lol

    • @RADIndustries
      @RADIndustries 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Richie Myers red Supra belongs to Ola Jaeger from Norway, Pro 2 driver. And Meziere enterprises for the water pump. I would suggest getting the 336s. If you type in WP336S on summit racing it comes up 👌

    • @riderthewake02
      @riderthewake02 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      im looking at something similar. I havent seen anyone do a rear mount on them either. main reason for me is im going 1jz and obviously its a lot longer then 13b

    • @DILLERR
      @DILLERR 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd assume it would most likely look like his Supra does since its also a hat hback and I know I saw a lexan replacement for the rear hatch I think which would work for cutting out the air ducts
