But eventhough they acted so close sometimes I felt like they never really had scenes were u can see how they actually start bonding which is really disappointing. Man I loved this season. Totally exceeded my expectations. I had mixed feelings after Season 1, but damn they knocked it out of the park on the 2nd swing, despite having to deal with the lockdowns + injuries. Well done to them!
I highly recommend reading the books if you want to see Geralt and Ciri relationship (many beautiful moments were not included in the show unfortunately.)
He really loves her because he was really ready to cut yen throat ..and fight the man that made him who he is to protect her ...that is is daughter I don't ship them as a couple ...

Ciri sees Geralt as her father as she haven't had the chance to get to know her biological father as her both parents supposedly died when she was just a baby so with what Geralt is doing which is protecting her, it's like Ciri is having a father figure to her life now. As for the destiny part, it doesn't mean that they are destined, it's romantically destined. There's the scene in the season where Nenneke told Geralt that Ciri is a part of Geralt as Geralt is a part of Ciri.

Have you read the books? Geralt Ciri bonding in Brokilon forest was so good there. Unfortunately this part was cut out from the show entirely.
