    Thank you so much. I've been dry pulling my hair and knotts out of my hair for more years than I can count. By the time I finish I have a pile of broken off hair. Thank you so much Cutie Pie.

    I'm trying your method of taking out my box braids, because I lost so much hair last weekend literally taking down my box braids.
    I took down my box braids and I put shampoo on my hair which I thought I was supposed to do and comb through it🤦🏾‍♀️ I lost so much hair so thank you for the video and I'm going to try your method which is way smarter than how I did it so thank you sis!

    😢 I tried to finger detangle but most knots in the front are too small and won't pull apart. I have tried conditioners, coconut oil, olive oil and apple cider vinegar. They just won't separate. Out of desperation and frustration I end up combing (well really tearing) the knots out. I know I need to take my braids/twists out way sooner than I do. But it is a struggle and expensive (time and money) to take down and get it re-braided. I appreciate this video and tips. Thanks.

      Same here about the time and money. People always say “you keep your hair in too long” but I deal with depression and it gets hard && it’s less stress and anxiety on me when I’m not worrying about my hair so sometimes I throw braids in for that exact reason, but I’m definitely going to work on taking them out sooner than I do

    • @kattmilk
      @kattmilk หลายเดือนก่อน

      Try Aussie spray detangler. I mix it with any serum or oil, then apply it directly to the knot (not the entire hair.) Cover your hair with a plastic cap and let it sit for at least 5 hours. Then finger detangle. 🙏🏾

    My hair is in two braids. I have small knots in the back of my hair. It’s too small for a comb anyway. Would this technique work for the little knotty nape hair. This is more than my kitchen cuz even though it’s by my nape, it has length. I’m trying to avoid cutting it. The knots are so tiny.
