      yes If nobody is going to say it I will. Everyone needs to get real. This run by the Warriors makes KD's decision to join the Warriors look EVEN worse! Before it was bad enough. He joined the team that beat him and joined the greatest team in NBA history (73-9). They do not need KD they never did and this is actual PROOF they are better without him. He was just extra frosting on a cake with plenty of frosting. If he wins a title this year all three of his titles will all be empty titles with no pressure and adversity. Come on how much pressure do you have when you have Steph, Dray, Klay, Iggy etc. The Warriors WON with the same team WITHOUT him. Lebron's 1 title in Cleveland is worth 100 X more than all of KD's three titles combined in Golden State. There will be an asterik next to KD and these titles in the record books as people will just say " yeah but" . He needs to win by actually going to and carrying a team that sucks or is mediocre at best when he gets there. Oh and I'm not a Lebron lover Mic drop...

      @@fkillah Lol, the whole FMVP argument, never gets old...bro, the warriors don't need KD, they would've gotten there without him. All he does is steal the show and take away shots from Steph and he's terrible for the flow of the offense. Steph should've won FMVP last year too btw. And yeah, they choked a 3-1 lead but they wouldn't be able to say that if they hadn't have gotten up 3-1 to begin with. They only needed to win 1 game to be champs again and the only reason they lost was because injuries and a suspension. That's no excuse but it is objectively true, they were historically great before KD got there

    • @WillAyeAmNot
      @WillAyeAmNot 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@fkillah Not to say KD isn't a phenomenal player because he is, he's arguably the best in the game. With that being said, of course Draymond and the rest of the warriors would want him to come over to join them, who tf wouldn't want Durant to join their team? I just don't think they need him. Not arguing that they're better or worse either, I just don't think they need him. The bench plays better when the ball moves around more when he's out and steph is able to do his thing more.

      Nickkhan802 - we live in the present and KD with back2back finals MVP is the consensus best play NOW, Kawhi, Giannis and Harden next perhaps Steph. LBJ is not top 4 right now. Furthermore legacies get tainted over time and LBJ is on the decline and Nick wants to protect his current and future position. Think I’m wrong, what happens if LBJ and Lakers don’t advance past round1 next year and he has 2 yrs left. Getting older, can’t turn the corner and finish, plus a liability on D. How many of the top4 couldn’t win 3 titles with the whole NBA marketing engine trying to help. Frankly the Lakers want out of the deal but don’t want to loose face and get zero on a trade when LBJ won’t report.

      He doesn't make them unbeatable its just take great teamwork to beat them prime example remember lakers lost to pistons and the Heat loss to the spurs but the thing is that's not the same warriors team that won without him you missing harrison barnes, david lee, barbosa and brandon rush were key parts in that championship. The reason I say that the bucks would beat golden state without kd is that the greek freak would not have to use so much energy on the defense end because kd wouldn't be out there then you have bledsoe playing curry, while middleton against klay, iggy can't guard Giannis he would be in foul trouble. Giannis would have the lebron effect against golden state plus the bucks play defense too and have a bench so you would need kd to offset Giannis.

    Why aren't we talking about Curry's legacy if the Warriors win the finals without Durant?
    after winning league MVP and a championship, the narrative was that Warriors got lucky that the Cavs were injured
    Next season they win 73 games and Curry wins unanimous MVP....Warriors dominate first half of the finals before a significant suspension and injury.....Cavs come back and Win - Warriors sign Kevin Durant.
    Warriors win back to back but the narrative is that they couldnt have beaten Lebron without Durant...
    If the Warriors win this year without Durant....I expect the narratives from years past to be erased a 100% vindication of Steph Curry.....Steph Curry - 4 Championships in 5 seasons.
