- In this video you can see a BMW M140i with 700 hp (insta: 1stockf20) drag racing against some other higly modified cars. Its racing against a 680HP TT-RS, 540 HP BMW 545i, 500HP+ 435i, Stock M2, 480HP 335D and more!

I know it’s not in your control but the perspective looking straight down the track makes it almost impossible to tell who wins and by how much. Half a car length and 2 car lengths look identical.
See how i tell is whoever brakes first at the end wins basically the m140i up till the tt-rs i didnt watch afterwards so idk.

man you gotta do more research. bmw’s turbocharged inline 6’s are and always have been a force to be reckoned with. prolly the most underrated engines on the car scene. they are extremely capable

From E36 328is to my current car, an M140i (remapped to 411bhp/576nm).
Trying to preach to the already converted mate.
Just had a 200 cell cat fitted to mine, ITG air filter, and another remap. 455bhp/634nm, woohoo !

Awesome M140I! Love the B58 engine, and i am really trying to get my hands on one... but why did like 70% of his opponents jump the start? Not just by a little... but alot!

@@krakatoa16 Nooo, i am waiting. Also i think i'd rather get the 440I gran coupé because it is much larger and the looks of the 4-series with m kit is just a beauty! I also need to sell my 2-series coupé first, but havent gotten around to it. Just extended the contract a couple of months ago, so i dont know if it is worth it at this stage, even though i have paid it down wayy to much.
@@martinskovrup8528 I have owned BMW's for over 20 years, mainly 3 series, but this time I have an M140i.
Unless you have adults who regularly use the rear seats, then the F20/F21 shape is very practical indeed. I moved my daughter's house stuff in mine, and once the rear seats folded down, there was a surprising amount of room.
If nobody is sat in the back, there is just as much room in the front as a 3 or 4 series, once you adjust the seat.
The B58 is amazing, mine is only running 455bhp/634nm but wow, in such a small car it is pretty quick.

The reason for wanting the f36, is only 25% the practicality. 75% because i really do loooove the looks of the f36. The shape, the profile, the m-kit, the light, its just a beauty. It is one of the best looking cars ever made, and even though it was designed quite a few years ago, nothing has been able to hold up to it (in my own opinion ofcourse)
So that is why i really want to wait till it, ofcourse financially, makes sense. I live in Denmark where the taxes on cars are about 150-180% on top of the cars price, which makes it quite expensive to be a car enthusiast unfortunately. So a 440I around the price of $35.000 is about $87-98k in Denmark...

I'm lucky I guess, I work in the motor trade, and an M140i came in as a trade in.
It only had 14,600 miles on, and I got it for exactly £20,000 (don't know the conversion to euro's sorry).
I have spent about £2,500 tuning it, so for the money it's amazing really :-))

Simple answer....the M2.
In standard forms the m140i and original M2 were close in terms of performance if you gave the xdrive system to the m140i there'd be nothing in it and ultimately would make the M2 an expensive folly.
Mark Rhoden ... the M140i xdrive exists though , we just can’t get them here in the uk.
@@markrhoden68nope. BMW UK is too cheap and won't import it. The 140ix is available pretty much everywhere else, just like the M2.
You can only get the m140i xdrive in left hand drive cars, thats why we don't get them in england

That 335d x-drive estate ..... bloody fast !!! when you consider it stayed ahead of a 700 bhp m140i x-drive that weighs about 300kg less ;-)
Do you mean the white one which launched about 1/2 a second before the M140i ? (ie cheated).
They’ve got lots of torque from standard + it was remapped the have 313bhp stock

@@one40i19 looking at it again it did leave early and the 140 was catching slowly. It definitely has a 335d badge but even with dpf delete and stock engine you're looking just under 400hp odd and a f*** ton of torque, so this must have different turbos an intercooler and a serious tune!

Running meth on B58’s actually hurts the motor.. being that the intercooler is intergraded with the intake manifold + the way the manifold directs the air. Don’t run meth on B58’s

That is the appeal of the car for me.
I don't want something which attracts attention, with spoilers, wings, fake carbon fibre crap stuck all over it.
Mine is standard, but tuned to 455bhp/634nm and I have even debadged it so that most people think it is just a 118d or something.
That is much better in my opinion, than something which looks like a 15 year old gamer designed it, and looks 'race-car' but isn't even quick.
