Holy BASED The sheer amount of sidesteps and crazy air to ground transitions were insane. There were quite a few moments where I was just floored that Shing in particular could land from that high up in the air and still follow up that fast. The whole sequence at 3:31 had me do a double take. I can tell this was the product of countless hours of labbing, and discovering just how much you were able to chain together and get away with had to have been an unforgettable experience for you lol.
This was definitely one of the most enjoyable projects I've done in years, just learning how everything worked and figuring out cool stuff was a ton of fun! I'm really glad you liked it bro!
Dear god, it feels so good to see the first combo vid of Hearts DS worth a damn and it's glorious! I fucking love how you've been using Bakuenken the whole vid but also all the side switching, touchdown and usage of extended chain stagger is ridiculous! Will just point out some stuff that stuck out to me, but the whole thing was fucking a joy to watch! 0:48 with the damn hitbox lol Knowing how gravity works here, 0:57 is really damn tight lol 1:19 landing cancel Majinken Shouga, noice, into fucking Makuuga, no less lol 1:26 said it before, but this is the perfect example of it, this is a great showcase of how zigzaggy Shing can really be and looping around the enemy twice was just insane! 2:21 aerial Ankle Press to side switch and then to another aerial Mael Tornado side switch!! Ya gotta stop man! 3:05 Kuuretsuen into glide Shouseijin and then side switch in 3:11, very fuckin smooth! 3:30 how in the heck did you get the late hit of Shouseijin, that was hilariously tight lol God that was great, fantastic job Vik!

No Kohaku or Beryl combos sadly, couldn't come up with any fun combo ideas for them when working on this. Maybe some other time. Thanks! And I agree, it's very underrated.
True, but Tales combo videos nowadays are more about showing off what you can do with the characters and pushing the battle system to its limits, so having good damage output or being optimal isn't really a factor here. These combos aren't practical at all, they're just supposed to be cool to watch. Thanks for watching!

Why do all that combo with different techs? Most characters have at least one move which you can spam over and over for infinite combo.
