मैसूर महल भारत के सबसे खूबसूरत और भव्य महलों में से एक है, जो कर्नाटक राज्य के मैसूर शहर में स्थित है ।
मैसूर महल का निर्माण वाडियार राजवंश के शासनकाल में हुआ था। इसे ब्रिटिश आर्किटेक्ट हेनरी इरविन ने डिज़ाइन किया था और इसका निर्माण 1912 में पूरा हुआ था। महल की वास्तुकला में इंडो-सारसेनिक शैली के साथ राजपूताना और मुग़ल शैली का बेहतरीन संगम देखने को मिलता है। महल तीन मंजिला इमारत है, जो ग्रेनाइट और गुलाबी संगमरमर से बनी है। इसके गुंबदों को देखने का अलग ही आनंद है, जो इसे एक शाही लुक देते हैं।
अंदर की सजावट में लकड़ी का काम, कांच की नक्काशी और दीवारों पर बेहतरीन पेंटिंग्स देखने को मिलती हैं। यहाँ वाडियार शासकों की कोर्ट बैठती थी। यह हॉल सोने के सिंहासन और सजावटी खंभों से सजा हुआ है।
शाम को , महल को रंग-बिरंगी लाइट्स से सजाया जाता है, जिससे इसकी खूबसूरती और भी बढ़ जाती है।
मैसूर का दशहरा दुनियाभर में प्रसिद्ध है। इस समय महल को लाखों लाइट्स से सजाया जाता है और एक विशेष झांकी निकाली जाती है।
👉घूमने का सही समय
अक्टूबर से मार्च तक का समय मैसूर घूमने के लिए सबसे अच्छा है। दशहरे के समय महल की रौनक देखने लायक होती है।
महल पूरे साल सुबह 10 बजे से शाम 5:30 बजे तक खुला रहता है।
👉 कैसे पहुँचे
मैसूर शहर बैंगलोर से लगभग 150 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है, और सड़क मार्ग, रेल या हवाई मार्ग से आसानी से पहुँचा जा सकता है।
शहर के बस स्टैंड और रेलवे स्टेशन से महल तक टैक्सी या ऑटो द्वारा भी जाया जा सकता है।
👉महल के अंदर फोटोग्राफी और वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग के कुछ प्रतिबंध हो सकते हैं, इसलिए टिकट काउंटर पर जानकारी ज़रूर लें।
