Just finished learning this ! I am 76. Been playing guitar for 40 yrs. Love learning simple new songs. I hope you know Marco that God has Gifted you. Blessings to your family !
Marco Cirrilo, well......wonderful teaching, thank you...you have found the soul of the guitar or rather you have found each other... having gratitude for discovering your beautiful gift and thank you for allowing it to be shared...muchas, muchas Gracias...
Marco its rare for me to comment on videos but i have to say how much i love your channel !!!! And i am looking forward to digging in deep on your course I recently purchased.
Marco, I want to thank you for providing such amazing instrumentals for us to learn. In all my years of guitar playing I remained at an intermediate level learning mostly covers. When I reached a point in life where quality guitars begged for me to push my abilities, I’ve since left the covers and you are now one of my primary instructors. I love this piece and it’s simple enough for anyone like me to learn. How I am approaching a faster way to memorize the different steps is by listening to the full instrumental over and over until my mind knows what to look for. Then I go through the lesson to see how you play each of the steps. I can master the lessons easier using this approach. Thanks again!
Hi Marco, The presentation as a whole is fabulous. The guitar shots (position of cameras) simply give the feeling of a one-to-one lesson. Thank you so much. I'm trying hard to progress with the 7 Day Finger Picking course (money very well spent) and as soon as I feel confident will sign up through Patreon for next set of tuition. If I lived in London I'd book a personal one-to-one to find out if you think I will ever be able to play.
This is perfect Marco! I have been looking for some simpler pieces to play on my new hybrid nylon string and this fits right in. Thanks for your teachings, you have my patron subscription, thoroughly deserved! Can we have some more like this please; a little more involved without being too much to attain in a short time. Thanks!
Marco your approach with these short pieces is brilliant. Less is truly more. Giving students a treasure of approachable musical pieces at their finger-tips. It’s addicting. Practice these super slow, measure by measure, it will happen. Thank you.
Awesome lesson! Thank you! I've been playing bass and guitar since I was 12. I 56 now, and I still can't play a melody. I actually had to look up the word Melody for the definition of what one is. I'm going to master this lesson, and by next week, I should be cutting heads with Yngwie! lol Thank you. You give me hope. It's not really that hard, is it?
I don't want to say anything critical because I am a big fan of his videos. Of course, I am asking questions because I watch and learn from the videos. However, something that confuses me about Marco's videos. I understand the chords and melody, but he doesn't talk about where the notes for the melody come from. Does the melody come from the scale of the key of the song, from chord tones of the current chord, and/or from the scale of the current chord? He does give a hint saying it is a melody in a minor key. So does that mean the melody notes are all from the Am scale? I know that he does intermix the cords, I am talking about the single melody notes between chords. I could probably figure this out myself by learning the melody and comparing the notes to the scales for the cords. But sometimes I only pull the chords and flavor of the melody from these videos, then I try to add my own melody rather than attempt to memorize and play his entire melody. Anyone have any ideas?
This is nice. I will use it. Where does the time go Marco? Watching your very good videos is watching you grow. What is the guitar you are using here if i may ask? Ceder top? If you or someone you know are shopping for a classical guitar i recommend Siccas Guitars in Germany. They have an amazing collection from which to choose. Thank you for these clear and tasteful lessons. If we want we can even take the ball and run with it a bit, although not really needed.
Hey Marco, really beautiful melody. I’m sure parts of it in your clip sounds similar to a track from The Highlander movie with Sean Connery, I just can’t find your link to listen to the whole piece. Your music always relaxes me and wants me to go and get out my guitar to start learning again. My fingers just don’t work anymore though.
Just finished learning this !

Such a beautiful relief from the nauseating guitar slapping double-tapping pyrotechnics everywhere else.

Where is the link to the instrumental? I don't see it in the description.
🥰👍😁🍀Thank you.
Just heard your feature on that new King Cobra album 😲
Hi sir, could you please provide some scottish melodies
Hey Marco, really beautiful melody. I’m sure parts of it in your clip sounds similar to a track from The Highlander movie with Sean Connery, I just can’t find your link to listen to the whole piece. Your music always relaxes me and wants me to go and get out my guitar to start learning again. My fingers just don’t work anymore though.
Where is the link pls.
Can we play it on normal guitar as well?
Only if you send me $20.😄 just kidding.
You can play on a steel string acoustic or electric.
It's not the guitar,... its the player.
I can hand you Clapton's guitar and that won't make you sound like Clapton.
@@JC-DC Can't play anything now so $20 is a good deal!
What kind of guitar?
Сначала лайк, после просмотр)))
Nice
There is a part sound like hotel California intro for acoustic
I can’t find the instrumental to this
I’m not good enough to be able to tell what he’s doing.
Not even on half speed. But I made up a cool song pretty similar
Just be patient!!
Hello 👋 somebody have thé name pf this wonderful song😍 please ? Thank you 🙏
