  • The following productions that was shown were some of the shortlisted dialogue performances of Mr. Ted Nudgent Tac-an during his 3-year Professional Theater (Acting) Diploma study in Intercultural Theater Institute, Singapore. All the productions shown hold different mediums, stories, and flow all in one form of art; Dialogue. It gave me a roller coaster of emotions, from being educated to, so a romantic talk, to a funny talk, and to a reflective talk. In one dialogue Mr. Tac-an was able to show how a form of communication flows and was eventually returned to the first conversation. The ideas of each dialogues were all unique and amazing to be exact.
Dialogues are not only a communication of two or more person. It is more than just talking to be honest, it is the exchange of emotions and feelings that makes it a dialogue. This is why dialogues are considered as a form of art, because art itself is a cultural dialogue of expression. Dialogue itself is art. Through dialogue we are able to express any thought provoking imagery through any medium or situations. Dialogue is a very flexible form of art to be exact.
All art forms are worth learning and understanding, since art is a form of expressing ones feeling. Dialogues though are quite hard to make and do as well. They have a very long and hard process that requires so much skills, like script making, acting, and being able to let your emotions pass through the audience. As an art appreciation student, it is really helpful and important to be exposed to this kind of productions. Because in this way we are able to learn even just a little overview regarding this kind of art form. It is very great opportunity and we are very much thankful to be a student of this subject course.
