8 years off and on that I lived in Tucson. Never had a date there. Did in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Williams and Gila Bend as well as Utah, Oregon and Texas very easily.
SHOGUN Japanese restaurant is one of my favorites. Not very large, it has a floor to ceiling waterfall inside and on one side private closed off booths. The food is traditionally Japanese as is the presentation. It is located in the corner of the shopping center on River & Oracle.
Great restaurant suggestions. You started off with what's probably my favorite restaurant, Contigo. I really like Terraza Patio and Lounge as well for the live music and ambience.
Thank for these helpful videos. I've returned home to the Gadsden Purchase after spending my productive years in San Diego. Things have changed in Pima County. Who knew? I landed extremely well down in Cochise County, and find myself ignorant about the available finer things up in my home town. Your videos are great!, Again, thank you. RSA
Excellent video, thanks for the recommendations, for my date I would take her on horsedack to the end of kolb (south) with a bombfire and margaritas and a 4 course 5 star meal cooked on the fire. For dessert it would be triple chocolate prickly pear chipoltle mouse lava cake... Cowboy from Colorado
Good video, and I agree with most of the picks on this list. The one big exception would be Commoner & Co. I have dined there 3 times and all three visits were terrible. All three times, the service was abysmal. We are good restaurant guests, eat out often, but we have had food come cold (not warm) after the cook placed our meals on the ledge, but the server didn't get to it for over 20 minutes. (She was nowhere to be found during that time.) The second time, a different server served by better half an item that my better half is allergic to, in spite of us informing him of the allergy. OK, mistakes happen, but the third (and last time), We were not served our meals for nearly an hour, although other patrons came and went. I should mention that we were never rude or unfriendly, but at no time, except for the allergy meal, was there any apology or remorse from the server. Based on our experience with Commoner, we can do better. A LOT better. Perhaps Commoner can be replaced on this list with Wildflower. Good food, great ambience, and a great place for a date if you eat outside (it's really noisy inside). Again, thanks for a good video.

Wild Garlic Grill
That place sucks
Villa Peru in the Joesler Plaza on River Road and Campbell Road.
Tito&Pep and Coronet are our go-to's.
Some great choices!
We also like Wildflower and Bottega Michelangelo's

Awesome! Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your not so great experiences😬
Maynards!
Best staycation resort?
Yes we are working on a video about that! We really like the JW Marriott right now, but there are so many great places.
Culver's great food, staff, seating
😂
Nice show... sounds like you have a cold tho... scratchie throat 😮
Being in Tucson for 60 years i watched this to see what the “younger crowd” considers a good date place. The only one ive heard of was Vivace. Yikes!
To be honest we eat out a lot because of this channel, and there are still soooo many places I’ve never heard of or been to.😀
Ihop
The eyelashes are too big
Nortthside . The Preserve Fine Dining has a fantastic view. At Saddlebrooke Area
Excellent!!! 😋
Jack in the box
😄
Lived everywhere and Tucson has the worst restaurants period it’s unbelievable how bad it is.
Agreed. For every 1 good restaurant there are 20 garbage restaurants
You sound like someone that thinks “fine dining” is Burger King or McDonalds.
Not to me - remember, everybody’s got one 😂
You probably consider Taco Bell real Mexican food.
