Just gotta say …. Ive owned my 04 Cayenne Turbo for 5 years and you all have helped me so many times with issues i would have had to pay a shop thru the nose for, and i did it myself. Really appreciate it . Unfortunately some shops see a chick coming and “cha ching” price doubles. Im thinking those shops really wish you’d keep your videos to yourself. Ive always loved cars and big trucks . My first car being a 66 mustang 289 stock engine but with a tunnel ram and hood scoop 4 barrel holley carb , 426 in the rear end , hurst shift kit . Back then i could figure shit out with backyard mechanic friends. My Cayenne is a new world and even getting to the friggin battery is a puzzle. You are amazing , pls keep it up. Knowledge is power. Lol Literally
Thanks. Took it to a shop and they tried telling my wife that this was a 2 hour job. Went and bought a battery and followed your instrutions. Took me 18min and 45sec. start to finish. Oh I did find one lighter, and one Euro and we live in the US lol.
Pls Help! Does the V6 Cayenne (1st generation) have a 2nd battery? Replaced the main battery many times, but still the battery dies and doesn't start up (needs boost to work), the day it gets cold for winter, or a dome light or radio is left running for more than 10 seconds. No battery drain was found. Any suggestions??
Hello Auto Repair Guys. I have recently inherited a 04 Porsche Cayenne Turbo from my dad, and this SUV runs like a charm; however, I am noticing an airbag light in the display. Can you share with me the meaning of this? And what should I do? Thank you.
Hello can you do a video on E200 W211 remove sunroof trim panel? I need to remove my sunroof sunshade. And i am scared i will damage the trim thank you.
Actually they did this to move battery to location isolated from major crash points in the car. They want to ensure electronics and lights can function as long as possible in the event of a crash. Another reason was to move away from major points of heat and thus extending the life battery.
They put it there so you can bring to dealer and dealer makes tons of money. Mind you these are for people with money that don't mind paying high labor, After 3 years they dump it and get the latest model.

Subscribed to you when I bought my 05 Cayenne Turbo, absolutely love your videos! Thank you🏆
I did it. Get prepared to have a really great time🤣
That might be the worst battery location ever. Average person would tow it to a dealer. Yikes.
I imagine that's why they put it there
@@ryanh1222 that and there really isn't anywhere else to put one in these things.
I’m now devestated I have to do this if my battery ever dies 🤦🏿♂️
@@Thehandsomehustler no in the engine bay its covered by plastic you will see the battery picture and you can Jumpstart
Smart to keep the battery out of the way

No they didn't have any room in the engine compartment
it's for weight distribution purposes.
