Back wheels of the deck, handbrake off and turn the adjuster nut until the rear wheel start to bind, then back the nut of a turn or two till the wheels are free. If the cables are stretched and there's no thread left on the adjuster rod, take the nut of the adjuster rod, use such as steel washers to make a spacer, putting them on the rod, then screw the nut back on so the washer spacer is between the nut and the cable equaliser bracket. This will allow extra adjustment.
@@craigrichardson5367I tightened my handbrake like how it’s done in the video and while it wouldn’t hold the car most of the time it was much better then before. I drove it one day and then parked it back on level ground. The next the the handbrake was extremely loose and didn’t hold the car at all on a tiny slope. Any idea what to do?

You say till the breaks are free m8 if handbrake is loose does it make the car feel like it's being held back by the breaks

Does this work the same for DS3 or is it a yellow push pin to reset the handbrake
not ALL are created equal, makes and models vary, get a workshopmanual for your vehicle and read the instructions!
