I did this too back when i was about you're age. Tried it on a wheelbarrow tire. It worked for a little while until it started to get broken up from abuse. I'd reckon an hour or so riding on the bike it'll break down. I'm only 10 minuets in so not sure how this video ends yet. edit - you should have tried to use the inner tube and filled it with foam (core removed) then put the core in & a little air to make it round and seat the bead. Closed cell foam would probably work best.
Try a rim strip to cover the spoke heads and make sure all the spokes are tight. If you don’t care to get a rim strip, electrical tape or duct tape will do since that’s what’s in my back wheel right now and it works great. Love this kind of content with the jimmy rig
I just pause the video before you start spraying it and take it leave the holes open until it is done expanding and then you can trim and then put your plug-in. That way it may feel more evenly. And I’m voice texting so if this is messed up. That’s why I’m doing 80.
Looks like setting the bead would help. And maybe just 2 or 4 insert holes? Segway is just a high priced Sur-ron. The E-Ride pro is better than both, but the Talaria MX5 Pro (just released) should be the best and is "only" $4700. If you are looking for a cheap Ebike that has big battery, Awd and a rack. The Wallke H7 is less than $2k.
Need to get a good name brand tire an the a rim strap an wrap electrical tape around the rim then a bead lock and put baby powder inside the tire and on tube then put it on an out just lil bit of air then let the air out then do it again put lil more air in let it out then fill it up to proper psi . But if your running a tube you need a good rim strap an wrap that in electrical taper but make sure your spikes are tight first then do all that . If u run no rim strap the tube gets a hole from the spokes an if there loose then it just gets worse
THERES some col chemistry you can do with the foam. to do something like this u need it to be like a small closed cell foam and to get that after about 10 minutes you need to deflate the foam in a tire its easy to do just spin it at a good speed and will flaten it you will also need 7 or so cans to properly fill the tire keep adding in more after tou deflate it each time ive had med term success with that method and gotten several hundred road miles before it started to break down in a heavy load use
A few rounda of electric tap covering the spokes on the wheel and a good dusting of baby powder in the wheel and on the tube. But essentially... even with a brand new tire and all the steps... the Lil bikes can't handle the weight.
Also, might’ve been a good idea to squeeze a trigger for one second on a piece of wood to see how much filler you get out of it because squeezing it for 10 seconds in one spot when you’re planning on 12 probably not a good idea
How do you figure it out? You put the whole entire cannon in one spot it probably would’ve been a good idea to roll the tire around real quick on the floor to spread it out around the wheel. I wish I could’ve been there to help you make these decisions, I don’t think you did enough homework here
If this don't work take old tube cut stem off and cut it all way around and put new tub inside of old tube you use old tube for a liner and black tape the wheel or duct tape it
Lol now wonder you going threw tubes that rim looks like it’s missing spokes and you may think the rest are tight but under a load they flex an move enough to wear the tube threw the rim strap if you don’t have a rim strap then that makes it worse . Also there should be a bead lock that goes in that tire if not that also will couse the tube to rip from the rim trien to spin inside the tire . I’d get a good rear rim and make sure you run a bead lock they look like a u shaped hunk of rubber with a thread end on it to slide threw the a hole in the rim like a valve stem and when you have the tube and tire on and aired up you tighten the bead lock . Look on the parts break down to see if your bike supposed to have one . I’m betting if put a good rim strap on an wrapped in electrical tape an run a bead locker if you don’t have one your flat tire issue will be fixed

At least you are willing to try it!
So glad you made this channel
THAT WAS GOLD!!!

Loved the vid lol but check out a rim locker for your pit bike lol it’d fix that tube poping
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣!!!!!! It’s never a dull moment with you!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 worth a shot to try though
There’s a specific foam they use is equipment IE skid steer’s and telehandlers and such that I’m sure would work great.
dex that was funny as hell thank you!

lol , if I was closer I’d would of came by already and spray foam insulated the shop /house I imagine it gets hot and cold . Love the videos dex!
Roadtrip!
You need a dense closed cell polyurethane foam for use in tires . That stuff is open cell very light foam it’ll just break apart eventually
You're time lapse music is perfect lol

Dex keep the dirt bike and make a lil trailer to pull behind it. That will haul whatever you need. 👍

I wonder if you use like three cans and had it rotating while they dried if it would work
How much did you spend on the spray foam, They make extra heavy duty tubes, How many cans do you end up useing,
I got a buddy with a big 2 wheel backhoe that has foam in the front tires..
A few rounda of electric tap covering the spokes on the wheel and a good dusting of baby powder in the wheel and on the tube. But essentially... even with a brand new tire and all the steps... the Lil bikes can't handle the weight.
Try putting a solid swim noodle ! just a try
Hey maybe use structural foam!!!
Dex is doing it for science purposes don’t do this at home kids lol. Joking we did a four wheeler tire and didn’t hold up
Need to build a basket for the front. Mabye a tire rack on the back. Lol
i always wanted to try this but figured the foam was too soft.
For science!!!!
Thats funny stuff right there thanks for the laugh

Would tennis balls fit in there?

Entertaining, if nothing else...
You gotta have a loose spoke stabbing the tube.
If this don't work take old tube cut stem off and cut it all way around and put new tub inside of old tube you use old tube for a liner and black tape the wheel or duct tape it
Dex I would like to talk to you about a project for next Yeats Ls Fest any way to contact you and dicuss said project?
Years *
What if a guy filled the tube with foam?
You need to drill a hole and put a rim lock on it the tires spinning on the wheel the ripping the tube
If that don’t work good use tennis balls I did it on my pit bike at my buddy with sum old tennis balls his dad had
Nuetech NitroMousse tire insert no more tubes
Tennis Balls best way to go tubeless on a pitter.
Mine became very heavy
It’s flat cause I was too big for that bike
Lol now wonder you going threw tubes that rim looks like it’s missing spokes and you may think the rest are tight but under a load they flex an move enough to wear the tube threw the rim strap if you don’t have a rim strap then that makes it worse .
