    Love you videos so much
You’re the person I trust the most for realistic swatches.
I would say if you’re travelling then use a setting powder for a skin tone shade. And you can use your contour as a cooler transition. Or if you’re at home you can use a transition shade from another neutral palette. I think it’s really nice that they put this palette out because people are always saying that ABH does palettes with like 12 brown shades and 2 brights!

Thanks for the swatches!! My thoughts on this palette is that it is not made for blending. It is great to pack the colour, but blending makes the pigment fly away. Not for an average "normal" person's day in school or at work, I guess.

This like an add on pallette for mostly bright pops Norvina says,So you can use a little single or even your bronzer to just do an transition shade that's no biggie.

The yellows, pinks, and oranges can be used as transition shades. Honestly, I rarely use a brown toned shade as a transition shade. I only use a brown if I'm doing a brown look. I don't understand why some people think that a transition shade always has to be brown. I think this palette could easily be used as a stand alone palette. It could also be used as an add on palette, as you stated, depending upon the desired look.

I have always enjoyed ABH’s formulas. I even love subculture. I know how to work with pressed pigments and even though my eyes are sensitive their pressed pigments have never irritated my eyes.
I know they are not for everyone though.
I’m for sure getting this palette. 💗

I still wasn’t impressed with that shimmery peachy gold even with your finger and the damp brush. The literally JUST released the JA palette and here goes this. It’s too much. It’s just making me not interested in buying anything. This goes for all brands.

This palette just doesn’t do it for me.. it seems like some of the colors are super similar & the layout is off putting.

They're probably doing it because critics said there werent enough shades of purple or purple-based colors. In addition, they sa8d it was too light of a pigment with colors that didn't compliment purple.

    • @stevieray7203
      @stevieray7203 5 ปีที่แล้ว

exactly....it seems a mess of colors without coherence...not inspiring at all

    • @felicial7628

I agree. I have heard that these palettes are designed to work as quads, so this is why they might look random? I just bought this one. But, not because of the layout but in spite of it. If there was a beautiful wine red-based palette with some pops of purple, pink, yellow, orange, brown, and blue nicely arranged, I would have been more tempted. In the end, I finally decided that I that I really like the formula, I like mixing colors and having options, and that I could grow into this one. That said, videos like this one with beautiful swatches and a tastefully done eye look are very helpful.

Altho i have never, EVER spent this much on a palette, I was super interested because I thought it was finally gonna be a super pigmented purply palette, so sad that a lot of it was hard to work with. If I am gonna save up and pay that much, every shadow- or atleast 75% should turn cartwheels. They looked gorgeous on the arms. Let me know, please, at some point- or do a video, with how the purply part/story of the palette works on the eyes. Also, what brushes, all together on eyes, do you recommend using for a palette like this? Affordable if possible. I know you said a super dense brush, did you totally use that on eyes? What brand? Thankyou so much for any info and many blessings. I have't had any of your videos show up in a while and i've missed you. I just love your voice!!

Interesting 🤔🤭 The swatches were gold and then when you did the actual eyeshadow application you could clearly see that what you were saying was indeed true. I am curious if the other shades would perform the same or similar so I’ll be watching for your upcoming update. Wow, I’m surprised but in a way, I’m hoping to save myself some coin from purchasing this. 😁

I think this palette is beautiful and the pigmentation is amazing. However, the fact that just about ALL the mattes are pressed pigments prevented me from buying it. I find them more difficult to work with as you experienced. I'm happy to keep my $60. Thanks for the video.

Thank you so much for talking me out of this! I have a feeling this is a aesthetically pleasing but ultimately a regret if I did fork this out and I think they should have just promoted Jackie's palette more and let its formula and shade range speak louder than this.. a Denona meets Viseart dupe.

This palette is add pop to your collection, and plus is press pigments so you tap tap and blend lightly, press pigments perform better with a tacky base. The press pigments doesn't perform neither blend as regular eyeshadow.

I agree that that the palette is missing a couple transition shades for paler or less pigmented skin. My first grievance is "Limited Addition". Some of us choose to save for our purchases. Seeing the price point, it will exclude some people. As far as quantity for value, the price is comparable. I am a sucker for all things purple. Still..I dislike it when large, mainstream brands, attach "Limited Addition". Attaching Limited Addition causes fear of missing out. Its my opinion, that this creates impulse purchases.

you put my feelings abt this palette into words! i was unimpressed the moment it was first revealed and i couldnt figure out why but it's just not versatile! so many shades look similar i feel you're going to get the same/similar looking looks out of this 25 pan palette that you paid 60 bucks for. it's just not worth it. especially when other brands have these shades in less expensive palettes.

    • @nairabee245

Which brand?😭 coz I’m fighting my self not to buy this. I’m not gonna but I freaking love it tho. But I like my wallet to much to do that. But seriously which brands with similar color stories coz I actually want these colors. What brand has all those matte purples, sunset colors, reds and browns all in one relatively affordable palette?

I always appreciate your reviews and I think even if you had been impressed by it I still wouldn't shell out for it. The first three rows were attractive but the last two just didn't do it for me and for $60 or £68 as it is in the UK would just be a waste of money if I'm unlikely to use the majority of them.

Made in China and has a warning sheet that comes with the palette box that says “ pigments not to be used around the immediate eye areas” - enough to make me scared to touch this. I am returning mine.
