I think I kind of understand why alan chose to come back to china while she was already a top tier star in japan. I am imagining that she just found herself love folk music(especially tibetant music) so much that she just want to spend her lifetime to sing, to promote these music. Thus she just came back

I am Tibetan living in india. I wish my grandfather didn't leave Tibet china. The fake Dalai Lama fooled us to leave such a prosperous country. We live poor in india. Indian govt uses Tibetans for political purposes only. I wish I could go back to china

This is a fascinating mix of traditional and modern, and even though I don't understand a word they're singing, I don't care because the feeling is so strong! I think I need to start picking up alan's CDs post haste.
Of course there's no doubt, she's very beautiful and also has beautiful voice. The Chinese have a lot of classical instruments. Modifying the traditional songs is fantastic.
@@orgentsomo3582 , the backup musicians may be using Tibetan instruments (other than the electric guitars), but Alan is using the Chinese string instrument, the erhu. She has been playing the erhu since she was a little girl.
This girl really is something else !!! Is there no end to her talents, no end to her skills ??? I love the sound of her voice and the things she can do with it, I love the sounds of the traditional instruments but I was surprised to see an electric guitar being used !!! 💕💕💕💕
