The background of this song: This is the grand finale of the second season of Chinese Classical Music Festival. A competition of about 15 traditional groups/bands lead by 5 ‘teachers’ including alan Dawa Dolma and she had this Mani Stone Band who made to the final. This final day was just about performances as the winner was already determined in the penultimate episode. This song is an amazing world-class performance. Couple of instruments are a millennium old. alan is amazing as usual. The happiness of each performer in this collaboration is displayed and that makes me happy as well each time I watch it ! Rock on!
Alan sings like a professional singer in Tibetan, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and English. Besides, she plays Chinese violin and dances beautifully. A perfect emtertainer.

This is a fascinating mix of traditional and modern, and even though I don't understand a word they're singing, I don't care because the feeling is so strong! I think I need to start picking up alan's CDs post haste.
Of course there's no doubt, she's very beautiful and also has beautiful voice. The Chinese have a lot of classical instruments. Modifying the traditional songs is fantastic.
@@orgentsomo3582 , the backup musicians may be using Tibetan instruments (other than the electric guitars), but Alan is using the Chinese string instrument, the erhu. She has been playing the erhu since she was a little girl.
