@@monsterkidmedia it's good to see somebody get out there and document what's left of History. Covered bridges that's a big one that's gone train tunnels that go underground like tunnel Hill up there at route 60 and 541 going that way there was one enclosed off and the other end opened and now they put a border wall and close the bottom of it to where you can barely even see in there anymore. And a couple years ago I was talking about to the guy I said if we had somebody with film camera and the right kind of light and a boat we could have went back and got the last of the footage of what it look like inside but now it's too late. I was watching a video I forget who did it on cemeteries a while back and they were talking about gravestones and Sears roebuck catalog where people used to order them out of and they said the rarest stone on there and if they had not found one but they showed a picture well there's one right up here in bladensburg Ohio about 7 mi down the road from me. It's in the shape of a tree with bark they stand probably a little over 6 ft high I think and it seems like there should have been two in that cemetery but maybe I'm thinking of another cemetery cuz I know there's one more cemetery with that type gravestone or at least in this area.

Everything is gone. Years ago there was all kinds of stuff back there. I lived right there.
That building behind the MD Garage was getting restored and they found a bunch on money hidden inside. I remember reading about it in the newspaper and thought about all the times I rode my bike past it. I even remember stopping to check it out one time but it was all sealed up tight.
As you were walking through all that grass I thought to myself "the scariest part of that area is the ticks" and when you revealed you guys had ticks all over you, I kinda laughed but was terrified at the same time. We hike the valley all the time we load up on bug spray with deet
🤣 Dude... Ticks were never a problem when we were kids. Now they're everywhere! We laughed about it after, haha. Definitely not as funny when we're half naked in the middle of a cemetery picking those things off each other in broad daylight though hahaha. We looked like those monkeys that pull lice off each other and eat them.
They're making a walking park on the left side of the road before the barn.
Of course they are! They make all the cool stuff commercial. We just went to a (formerly) hidden mass grave in the woods in Tallmadge, they did the same thing. It loses its magic when they do that 😔

@@et1523 Howdy, I'm out of Knox county Ohio used to old way farming and being on farms those 2-inch spaces you see between the slats that's for the air to flow through so that's an old style corn crib. Sometimes they would back it up with a little bit of chicken wire to keep bigger rats out. A chicken coop/hen house would have had roost boards and laying/nesting boxes. Another style of corn cribs you'll find will be about 10-12 ft wide across but it's a big circle and it'll have two by six thick metal fencing kind of like goat or cow fencing except for smaller and it will stand as tall like a silo with a little tin roof on top and they'll put the old fashioned chicken wire that's three times thicker than the gauge nowadays that you get that can easily be bitten through by a dog and those are also if you come across some corn cribs. People haven't used corn cribs for so long, I think that's why nobody knows what they're looking at exactly. Now the Amish would know it if they seen it because they still use them and some old world Mennonites and anabaptist groups. I remember shucking corn by hand to feed the chickens and a little mix in for the rabbits I used to raise for my VO-AG projects and that was clear back in early 90s.

Been there hundreds of times and pulled ticks off. I’m sure you guys pulled more off after removing clothes. I’ve got Lyme disease and it’s no fun. Keep an eye for rashes. Good luck.
