This is so cool. Literally hearing the mathematic functions that make up life around us - and making visual art at the same time. Beautiful and awesome.
the energy and contrast of this video is hilarious *joyful, modern lo-fi inspired synth music* *screaming radio tuning and distorted circuit bent electronic noises*
@@jerobeamfenderson1 I played this video in my car because I liked the music, and the demonic wails of the oscilloscope made me think my stereo was imploding
The main reason for the harshness is the nature of attractors, there is no velocity between positions, just the position itself around an origin. A reasonably simple example is the path of particles in a poorly simulated black-hole, where they fly towards the center but then ping away as the force approaches infinity.
The master! 🙇♂️ I pitched this before but would be really interesting to have a whole game where a major part of the visuals and abilities revolved around shapes from sounds. Player obtains more building blocks as they progress. Learning a bit how to make certain sounds and theories as they find harmonizing combinations for them in the game by experimenting and finding the most powerful configurations
That seriously annoyed my seriously annoying brother. Thanks. Will be playing it on my 1.3 kilowatt sound system all night to irritate the fuck out of him
note to self: jerobeam is also good at making oscilloscopes scream in agony
Or "sing in harmony' for brief moments.
and to think, jerobeam is doing this to something without any emotions! just think of what jerobeam could do to a human body...

I like these sorts of videos where you just make thingies. Nice work!❤
hell yeah now we got business 🤓
This guy knows a thing or two about oscilloscopes, I'd assume
Beautiful. The Sound of Dynamical Systems at its finest!

Oh look, it's a live recording of my brain cell during my exams.
oh my god i looked at your desktop, im dying
I didn't know you could assign the frequency to a parameter like that in OsciStudio (4:40). Good to know!
This might be a peek of his next song
toward the end, sounds very much like an old crt scanning the tv channels.
Jerobeam Fenderson is love Jerobeam Fenderson is life
it's gorgeous ∆
thats so cool! i wonder what it would look like to have a range of numbers displayed as a third dimension.
Is nobody gonna ask about Half Life 3 on his desktop? 😂
that's one heck of a way to make an osci sperm cell
oooh its like a sonic klein bottle
this is like if a neat diy tutorial was about torturing electrical devices and biting into their circuits
Thank you
Now play this for 10h and you have a new autechre album

It's making me wonder, have you ever considered making harsh noise music?
