Do not forget about Beth! Izzy already got two previous guest appearances wearing that mutant spider costume in one episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. Those two seasons also had Duncan as a guest in Grand Chef Auto and an all-star contestant in Total Drama All-Stars, but we must not forget about the other Total Drama Action finalist. Seriously, Beth's voice actress got to star in plenty of films during the 2010s after Total Drama World Tour, so maybe playing a character who made it to the finale of Total Drama Action did something there to help her acting career, when that season's challenges were made to parody 22 different movie genres (minus the four Aftermath episodes).
My point is, even though Katie Crown and Sarah Gadon both made a career for themselves that grew their names beyond playing Izzy and Beth in the Total Drama Island franchise, which is why I think Storks and Indignation are worth watching even if only for them, they were not above returning to reprise their Izzy and Beth voices for main characters in Total Dramarama, so if someone writing for Total Drama Island's reboot also thought about bringing back Beth...asking Sarah Gadon to return for one episode may be less unlikely than you think. Two older seasons with the second cast already got one episode each out of Katie Crown for Izzy's voice, after all. August 13, 2024, 4:17pm
