I prefer the eboardskate Hyperdrive 100mm wheels on my boosted stealth. Narrower 52mm contact patch keeps the weight down, but still super grippy w/ soft 74a and the Orangatang spoke mount. I can hit ~29/30mph and absorb any bumps rough NY roads throw at me
when the difference is $10between 105mm and 120mm wheels, these pros and cons are vital to know. So you said 105mm is best perfected all around in comfort and torque. But 120mm is worth keeping for the days you need more immediate braking capability like in cities. Glad I went with 105 for compactness carrying and loading into the car.
I stated that it depends on the board size and gearing. For the carbon board I run 120D and for Exway Flex or boosted stealth I run 105D. Gearing is mostly based on preference.
If you could only pick one board, with the Cloudwheels, which would it be? The Flex, or the Verreal RS? I'm looking to buy one of them. I like that the Verreal is so much closer to the ground, and wider stance, so the rider is less likely to fly off when $hhh happens, but I also appreciate the weight and ability to tow the Flex around a store. I'm 6ft. I've summersaulted off my board at least 10 times in the last 2 years. Looking to cut down on that occurrence. =) Thanks! And great channel.

I heard you state that it is now your favorite board to ride. Have you been able to sort out the stability issues with double king pin trucks? Why the change of heart? @@voidwareprohibited I rode boosted stealth recently and flex. After ridding Eovan I felt unstable on the other boards and less power. On Eovan I swapped for harder bushings and I tighten them. The board is super stable and way more powerful but its longer and heavier.

Just keep the gears that flex came with and get the 105D. I like the clear or grey color but it you like your board to pop and look like boosted than get the orange. That is all you need to make your set up even sweater. Also use my code in the video to get a better price. Always wear protective gear and be safe.

I run the boundmotor / Elofty Direct Drive system with Abec adapters. I know they fit 120mm cloudwheels, as well as 97mm abec 11 wheels (original core) just fine. However, since this is a different core for the 105D clouds, do you think they will fit into the Elofty DD? Please get back to me as I'm excited to try these wheels.
the new core has different size so most likely it will not fit. Contact the company and see what they have to say. Maybe there is an adapter in process of making.
I rode on Flex and Verreal RS and they are dope. Best wheels so far for me. Improved the ride so much on flex with a flexible deck. I am sure it make a big difference on the Boosted mini or any other board.
I’m my opinion on my flex after I swapped the wheels( 200miles on factory ) there is little difference besides the crazy smooth ride the new wheels give and a little lose in acceleration
Hello, I am contemplating buying 115 mm rubber wheels from Onsra instead of the 105 mm cloud wheels I use on my Verreal board. Is that a good idea or do you like the cloud wheels better than rubber wheels? Thanks

I have not watch the video. A lot of reviewers are not 100% transparent so I do not watch their reviews. I focus 100% to give a transparent/honest review here. Why waste time and effort and at the end not get anywhere. My gold is to share good products and enjoy them.

@@WAVMOB I have not tried torksquesboard wheels. I have not seen many people using them at all that's why I chose clouds. More and more people use them in nyc and have amazing feedback. That's why I chose clouds over any other wheel. I recommend you to try them.
Good video! Gotta ?.. have you hit any moist areas on those cloudwheels? Wondering if it can take a small puddle without slipping. The wheels contact part reminds me of the 100 MBS and i had a very bad spill with those wheels when i hit a small piece of moss. I want to avoid that if i can

Yes clouds 105sDiscovery are the best. My favorite wheels today. It will make any board lighter and more comfortable. I dont avoid cracks anymore. Ride right through....is that soft and grips so well. If you decide to order use the code and get better price.

But I'm moving to Brooklyn post Covid, and I went skating there and realized how dangerous and chaotic the streets and sidewalks are and realized that as long as I'm not breaking a sweat, with all the stopping and starting and chaos it'd make more sense to rock the Pint :P If I end up moving to Colorado or back to Cali I'll most definitely be getting a setup like yours though! 105s are the right balance between safety and street power I think :)

my name is Vitali - clouds 105D are the best wheels i have tried so far. I am ridding 3 days straight now and love them. Good control, awesome grip and the feel is amazing. I have not seen their video and I dont know anything about that channel.

The Iclouds are staying behind the products and all Asian manufacturers are sticking their product and they says a lot about trust and quality. Maybe it's the same entity but different management? I dont know...but the wheels I got are performing exceptionally well and that's the only reason I choose them and shared my thoughts. I did not believe that the new wheels will be some much better than the old ones. I only ride now 105s D and I like them more and more day by day.
for the exway flex - did you need to buy the cloud wheels kit with the pulleys ? or is it ok to just buy the wheels, and re-use the original pulleys and belts
I placed the link that you can buy for a discounted price the kit with the pulley from cloud wheels. It will come with the right pulley and belt. The one from the board did not work out for me.

My exway flex arrives in 2 days and my blue cloud wheels donuts arrive in April. This video is getting me so hyped for it all.

@@ElectricVehicleSpace Will do, when I have a board that I am confident going 30+ mph on :-) in the meantime, I will be cruising around on the Flex-Riot for the time being and need to upgrade to the 105mm wheels.

Is there a way to pay the 105 clouds on a direct drive setup? I have the Revel direct drive but don't think there's any adapters available right now for direct drive.
Going to put a set of these on my future Zealot. Pretty sure I will not even need to buy pulleys as I think the stock ones on the Zealot will fit?
it's a thicker core. You need the right size pulley.

@@jamespostle6894 yes it does. My set up has 44T on the wheel. You can get a 40T pulleys or smaller and play with the gears.

you have to buy them separately but its worth 150% to get them. You will not ride any other wheels after. They are that good!

Hi King1* , hopes your shining sweet with your Exway Flex with those great looking 105d wheels, they look so goosd! My Flex arrived last week, and I am loving it. It's my first electric skateboard, and first skateboard in over 30 years.. : ) I am looking to buy the 105 d's, as the asphalt and pathways by the coast where I am in the UK, England, can be a little rough in places. It's not very clear on if I need to buy the new pulley with the 44m belt for the best set up for the 105's for the Flex. I would be super grateful if you could share your experience, and how you have set up your Flex with the 105d wheels. Big Thanks!! Chris

I got the pulley that came with it. You can order from the icloud website. It fits perfectly on RS.

Keep them and have two sets. These are amazing shoes for u eboards. You can swap for different rides.
They where nice at 1st but, the core cracked... only did 30km on it. I dont ride like a crazy mad man just a relax ride
I have 5 sets of clouds and I ride hard and fast. My weight now is about 200lbs and I dont have any issues with the old core or new core.
