I don't know why this seems intentional , northern Cali burned, southern Cali burned , years ago Cali didn't burn like this. Cali is PRIME real estate and the insurance companies pulled out right before the fires. Something is just WRONG about this.🙄
@@CrispyOkrait’s easier to get gas than charge a Tesla for 15-30 minutes in emergencies. Just because people take it on road trips doesn’t mean a full charge range is good, It’s still half the range of a typical gas car.
@ That's more of a function of you not wanting to wait, not the vehicle. Many gas vehicles these days get a range in the low to mid 200 miles. Range will improve with EVs.
Embers can still get in through vents and burn the interior. City planning has to keep builders/property owners from stacking homes right next to each other and require defendable spaces between them.
@@CrispyOkra I don't think all of them were next to each other. It not looks like in China. The damage would be much worse if they would have been next to each other and in a high density area with overpopulation.
Traumatic experience but this man has a WISE WIFE who didn't wait til the last minute to evacuate.
I hope he doesn't overlook that fact.
Everyone in LA needs to sue the city, county, and state.
For what? There isn't a community in the world that is prepared to fight thousands of structures fires all at once in 100 mph winds.
Sorry for the loss, but if you’re telling me a fire tornado and hurricane winds could be managed by a fire station by you…yeah no.
Even his Ins Co knew that the neighborhood was a tinderbox. They ain’t dumb.
How about we talk about how teslas burn at 5000° and can’t be put out with water… how did that affect the wildfires?

Why did he leave his Tesla?
Maybe he wasn't home when the fires broke out.
Limited range. EVs are only good for short commutes.
@@brosephbroman7564 That's not true at all. Many people take them on road trips across the country.

So no water....but they are not in the Sahara and the ocean is next to them...
Sounds weird
NOTHING ANYONE COULD POSSIBLY DO, NO WATER
Why didn’t he find a new insurance company immediately after being dropped?
Because there's none
@ not true. California FAIR Plan Association covers any resident
Make cement homes

Sad
Why were you dropped by the insurance company?
They make planes and buses out of flame retardants maybe they can make homes 🏠
We did it, Gavin 👏
your not important enough to save your home there were more important things to keep the fire from
