@@razvanlazar8933 It's a rebranded Hisense. RB327N4BWE is Hisense's original. That's OK as Hisense is a good company but theirs is cheaper for the same thing. Go up the Bosch range for a Bosch designed and made model if that matters to you.
Many brands rebrand the entry models (Electrolux/AEG does it with a Turkish manufacturer, etc).
That's an excellent and in depth review. I bought this fridge freezer as my kitchen is quite small but I've always wanted a Bosch appliance. It's very well made and hopefully will last a long time. I only wish it was a bit more energy efficient. Otherwise, I'm pleased with it. Very nice and crisp in white, makes the kitchen much brighter.
How often does your fridge freezer turn on/off during a 24 hours cycle? My new Bosch fridge freezer is coming on every half an hour, it is slightly noisy and the sides get warm! I am wondering if there is a fault with my fridge freezer, never known one to come on so much during a 24 hour period!
@@subrow6583 Sounds faulty, let them send out an engineer to have a look. I returned mine after a few days because it was extremely loud and bought a Samsung with a five year warranty instead for peace of mind.

How often is a fridge freezer supposed to come on during a 24 hour period, and for how long?
@@subrow6583 As a general rule of thumb, most refrigerators should cycle about every two hours.

These use 1 control, it is at the back of the fridge

Just bought this and have 2 plastic "caps" squeezed on then end of two metal pipes, should these be removed? Worried they could melt. They are blue like the ones in the video (next to the power lead).

I bought this fridge freezer a month ago from online store. and although I measured the width I didn't take notice of the depth. That was a mistake and one I regret. The internal measurements are quite small and this is a problem if you try to freeze a 30cm pizza or a turkey. The drawers will not accommodate either. The drawers are too shallow. I'm trying to work out if I can fit a turkey by removing a drawer and support thus making the drawer much higher. Would that work
yes it will, if you take out the top drawer, then you could put a big Turkey in the middle drawer and use the space above it where the drawer would normally sit.
@@lords-electrical Thank you for replying. I wish this Bosch had one very deep drawer and 2 others instead of 4 drawers. Removing a drawer for a turkey or a large leg of lamb for Easter is a one off but having to remove it for a fortnightly pizza is unacceptable. My old Liebherr fridge freezer was much more spacious. It was 55cm wide but had deep drawers although fewer. It had the coils outside the 'white box' on the back. You can't see the coils on this one so are they concealed within the 'white box'. Does that explain the smaller shelves and drawers?

Very useful video as I am looking for a fridge with these dimensions. Is it a one of their vita-fresh range that keeps vegetables fresher for much longer than standard fridges? And is the casing metal? I regularly charge smart lights, and in my small kitchen it is necessary to be able to affix their magnetic panels onto the fridge ... otherwise they would have to lie on the floor. Thanks
Just had a new one installed today, when you set it going for the first time, the manual says to set it on 'cold', does this affect the freezer part, or will I have to set it to colder?
To start with i would get a fridge thermometer as it allows you to see the temperature of the fridge and freezer. Then set it to cold as that will be the main temperature it will operate on.
Brilliant video- thanks! I brought this Bosch fridge freezer 3 weeks ago, and had the door reversed, what I'm finding is the light button inside the fridge on the right now slightly prevents the door from closing unless I shut it with a touch of force. This is annoying as I have accidentally left the fridge open a few times now. - it may be that the door reversal is not set up quite right and hinge needs adjusting to allow the door to swing more freely and shut - overcoming the resistance of the light button. The freezer door is fine - closes as expected. wandered if you've encountered this before? Anyone else got a reversed fridge door that shuts ok?!
This is always difficult as sometimes a fridge freezer won't open and shut as well once the doors have been reversed. It may be the fact that the middle hinge may need a slight adjustment.
My fridge freezer has come with 2 screws, 2 plastic cylindrical pieces and one large plastic piece, any idea what they are for? The illustrated manual is a little confusing
They are more than likely designed to be put on the back of the fridge freezer so that it is not pushed too far back

I have been looking to buy this Fridge Freezer and found that the white and silver version do not have the same spec. Unlike the white version the silver (KGN27NLFAG) has a fast chill system. Is this correct? Very useful video, help a lot.

Ideally the manufacturers will normally recommend to leave a gap around the fridge freezer. In reality as long as the unit isn't actually touching the wall and you have some space behind the fridge freezer for the main ventilation then you should be ok.
What temperature should it be set at
We would normally set it half way on the temperature dial and see how you go from there. Ideally you want the fridge around 2-3 degrees C and the Freezer around -16 to -18 degrees C

If there is pipe around the compressor, i would leave it where it is. Good choice of fridge freezer though i am sure you will get on fine with it.

That's pipe lagging and is meant to be there.
Where is the temperature control for the freezer please?
How do you know what temperature it is running at? There's no display or numbers on the temperature dial.
Really the only way is to get a digital thermometer and to leave it in the fridge freezer. That way you can see what the temperature is when the door is opened.

How do I adjust the screw foot on the front left foot
Hopefully if you tip the fridge freezer back a bit then you should be able to loosen the foot to adjust it.

I brought this fridge freezer 3 days ago, on the second day it was running every two hours with a 10 minute break and starts up again over a 24 hour period. It is now coming on every 15 minutes for half hour, slightly noisy and sometimes the outside of the fridge freezer is a bit warm, is this normal? It will cost a lot of money in electricity if it continues to come on every 15 minutes for half an hour!!!! :(
It does sound quite normal as it is switching on and off to try and maintain a constant temperature in the fridge freezer.
As the temperatures get a bit cooler, you should find the fridge will have to work less, so shouldn't be on as much
@@lords-electrical Ok thanks, I have it on eco setting for both fridge and freezer. I thought fridge freezers were supposed to come on every 2/3 hours. I am just a bit worried because the energy level is E and being on so much will cost a lot in electricity!

It is always recommended to try and leave a bit of a gap behind the appliance for ventilation purposes
Hi we've had our Bosch fridge freezer 2.5 years and it has started.to freeze food in the fridge 😓. We've had an engineer out and been told it's beyond economic repair due to a gas leak! Any recommendations as to what brand next please? Been considering Haier or Beko but after seeing this review tempted by Bosch again. Thanks
Does sound odd as normally Bosch are very reliable i haven't heard of a fridge freezr with a gas leak unless it has been moved and the pipe at the back has got damaged. Normally the build quality on Bosch appliances are a lot better then Beko though.

My mom bought a new Bosch fridge freezer very similar to this one. Just after the 2 year warranty ended it developed a fault and stopped working. A repairman diagnosed a broken fan, but Bosch has stopped producing that part... on what was a brand new appliance when purchased.
The repair man said that he's seeing this happen more and more... Bosch purposely selling items that will fail after two years and not providing necessary parts.

How to l set it up
Hi, bought the Bosch series2 KGN27NWFAG freestanding fridge freezer around a month ago. However even with the temperature dial on the lowest setting, it is frosting my fruit and veg in the multi box. Can anyone advise why this should be please.?
Does sound odd. If you have the dial turned to the Cold setting rather than the Colder setting then i would just check to make sure none of the ventilation holes inside the fridge at the back are being blocked by food. If they are then it could stop the flow of air around the fridge.
