You're doing it wrong you should've relied on a chaos orb and shattering shards instead of plain dmg. Most of the spells in a rogue's kit can apply status effects which means you always have a chance to proc the chaos orb. Additionally, you have the inferno enchant as well as veneri which increases enchant proc chance. There's also the rogue's mastery "vital strikes" which increases dmg on bleeding enemies by 20%. Combine all of this and you'll be able to speedrun yarthul without a single buff.
