- Former military intelligence officer-turned-whistleblower David Grusch told House lawmakers Wednesday that he had interviewed government officials who had direct knowledge of aircraft with "nonhuman" origins, and that so-called "biologics" were recovered from some craft. Grusch, who served for 14 years as an intelligence officer in the Air Force and National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, appeared before the House Oversight Committee's national security subcommittee alongside two former fighter pilots who had firsthand experience with unidentified aerial phenomena.

Anytime the government says "we're going to be transparent" then I'm immediately going to question what I hear.
Anytime military people under the whistle blower act come forward I am more apt to believe them than the government. Snowden worked for the government and then became a whistle blower then had to hide in Russia from the government. In particular it was the Executive branch after him just like this situation.

edit: to anyone who's saying this isn't a problem that matters because it wont have an effect on society. there's billions of dollars are being illegally used in the wrong areas, fixing/addressing misattributed funds is gonna help many different parts of society.
there's also a national security threat at hand here (whether it's aliens or a foreign adversary, this tech is way beyond what we have) that the entire military needs to be able to acknowledge and train for without looking foolish. it's to the points our pilots and workers are in genuine danger. these hearings are very important, no matter which way you cut it.
This will fix cost of living. The technology would change everything in the economy. Then of course the spending and taxes used in these corporate contractor spending would change. This issue is the ultimate cost issue of all time.

I have two questions too:
1) Why do UFOs choose only USA for sightings?
2) Why are all the video proofs never clear in this technological age?
1) Not true. Ufo's have been seen all over the world. You have not done your homework. There are 3 famous sightings that you can look up - One in Zimbabwe, one in Italy and one in Australia. And there are many more, not just in America .
2) The weaponsystems and cameras on fighterjets are not made to produce 4K quality pictures. Their purpose is to identify heatsignatures, how fast the object is going, how far away it is, and so forth.
There was a UFO crash in Russia in the 60s and they had the local news release a statement that is a was meteorite. There is video footage showing the object and it is definitely not a meteorite.
1. Russia, Norway, Turkey, Sweden, Brazil, England, Australia, Zimbabwe. The list goes on and on. Its worldwide and many documented cases.
2. Its very difficult to film even a bird or a plane. But there are videos out there, example Turkey UFO video or Mcminville photos. There's a constant information from insiders about HD video and pictures. The better they are the more classified.

I have heard stories about videos in really good quality being sent to mainstream media television, and after a short period of time the people or person who sent it was contacted by the secret services to give them all the evidences, otherwise they would face life in jail or worse... Except, assuming Grusch's claims are accurate, information has leaked, but no one believed it because they couldn't provide adequate proof. Not to mention that information about the Italy and Roswell incidents has been available for decades.
Also this was likely done with as few people as possible and highly compartmented. I wouldn't be surprised if the total number of people working on this was less than 150.

Occam's Razor makes quick work of this: either super-intelligent aliens are traversing the universe to hover over trailer parks and forests, or someone's been fibbing for some reason. We are, yet again, at a point where Grosch is claiming he "knows a guy who knows a guy" who saw dead aliens, but can't produce anything in the way of evidence.

They specifically look for the most crazy-eyed photo they can find of Grusch to make him look like a loon and subtly discredit what he's saying. He doesn't actually look crazy when you watch the video -- in fact, he comes across as entirely sane and lucid. If what he's saying is true, this is literally the biggest story in human history. It's a once-in-a-civilization event.

My father spent most of his adult life in the Air Force. He was stationed several times in Texas, in Oklahoma, and spent some of his TDY (temporary duty) in places associated with UFOs and things like that. He never told my mother or any of his children but he did tell my stepmother. She told me on my last visit to the hospital that he was in before he died that he had seen UFOs and even aliens. She told me like it was a secret that she wasn't supposed to tell. He was 86 and on his death bed. She was around the same age. She died a few years later so she was almost at the end of her life. She had nothing to lose. Why would she tell me that if it wasn't true?

That's very nice of you to say. However your opinion of the military would definitely change if you seen how we act when out of sight of civilians/public. Military members are highly trained professionals when they have to be and have the ability to instantly morph into highly trained idiots at the slightest feeling of boredom.
Boredom is the biggest threat to military members. I wouldn't be surprised if boredom has injured/killed more Soldiers and Marines than combat. While deployed to Iraq I got more injuries while on the fob then while on missions.

however i do think in the end, the benefits outweigh the costs. i think in a world where human nature can be observed, not having a military is fundamentally idiotic, and societally dangerous. but at the same time having one as far-reaching and trigger-happy as ours has resulted in massive civilian casualties over the years, and countless american lives lost over petty anti-diplomatic fear-mongering. iraq, cambodia, vietnam etc. But again, those are the costs of preventing one of the most evil people in history from forcing the world under his thumb. we definitely need to tone things down a bit. we should never let things get that out of hand, no matter who the opponent is. great power, great responsibility.
i do have a close friend in the marines. he’s a great guy, but you’d never guess he’d join the military had you spoken to him before he enlisted. so i know what u mean. however, i’m incredibly proud of his accomplishments, and look forward to where he’ll go in the marines.
i don’t want you to think i’m trying to put you or the military down by saying these things, but the reality is that the US military’s history has more darkness than light. i can’t ignore that.

If they’ve been covering this up for so long you’ve got to wonder about why they would choose to make it public right now. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence that they made this public in one of the highest stress periods of modern history.
They didn’t intentionally make it public, as far as we know. These men are whistleblowers who were likely threatened under oath to not reveal this information. They are testifying of their own accord because they believe the public has the right to know, but I doubt the related organizations are happy about it.

If someone claims something mundane (like that they had tacos for dinner last night) - most people would be willing to accept that statement without evidence (or with very minimal evidence). If you are going to claim something extraordinary - then it is unreasonable to expect people to accept that claim without sufficient evidence (which by its very nature would be extraordinary evidence). In other words, a receipt from a taco stand would not be considered extraordinary evidence but an alien body most certainly would be.

Even if extraterrestrials came here and they were more intelligent than us (whatever that actually means becomes quite difficult once you delvei into what intelligence in psychological science actually is), we would still be the most intelligent species. This is because extraterrestrials would not belong to the category of "species". Species are limited to terrestrials. If the definition of species is expanded, then that might change, but we might have to change our entire biological science to incorporate extraterrestrial life forms. Thus far, this is not the case for the obvious reason that all life we know of (and in the form that it does; carbon and genome based) is based on terrestrials. Semantics, sure, but semantics are of utmost importance if we have any intention to communicate with each other using the same language. Otherwise we talk past eachother.
