I am looking to learn astrology. I think I have just found the teacher I've been looking for! Not everyone can teach. Showing us the logic behind the meaning is essential for true understanding. And demonstrating the method in examples is so helpful! Also I appreciate the exclusion of colouring the meaning with personal philosophy. I was going to study Tropical first and move into Vedic astrology as I am more familiar with it, and Vedic astrology seems so much more complex but with Vic's teaching I feel confident I can grasp the concepts. And yes this Mars in Virgo analysis is bang on! I am absolutely going to treat myself to a chart

I am half East Indian, half Eastern European. Born into a family that suffered war due to religion on both sides and growing up in a Christian society where there was language strife and racial discrimination stemming from it. I never quite fit in anywhere, including my birth family and am known to stand against inequity and mentalities of non inclusivenesss, wherever I see it, which is why my first marriage quickly fell apart. I also draw wisdom from different religions and fields of thought and every day people, even if I don't agree with every aspect of their ideology. I am wondering about Vic Dicara's birthchart. I've never heard such an understanding of Mars in second house! Amazing analysis!

oof, you just described me. i have mars in taurus in 2nd house, and so as aries ascendant i am mars and mars is me. i have one aspect on mars and that's my 4th lord moon debilitated in scorpio. perhaps a saving grace is that my 2nd lord venus is up in 9th house sagittarius, and then 9th lord jupiter is down in 4th house cancer casting aspect back onto my moon in the 8th house, which is looking across at me again.
Edit: wow you know what, I totally forgot about rahu and ketu. I have ketu in 4th house too, so being in conjunction with jupiter really changes the quality of the aspect cast onto my moon, and then with rahu in the 10th, Mars gets a whole other aspect onto it. In fact the rahu aspect may be the most potent as the two are within 1 degrees of an exact trine. Interestingly still, since saturn/capricorn represent bones, that influence upon rahu may explain why I have scoliosis. Astrology is amazing! Anyways.. that all really changes the story. Sorry vic, lol

For example : if I were a tropical Pisces sun at 24degrees, would I be a revati or a purva bhadrapada with a 24 degree Pisces sun?

So many things are making sense to me, I am always the controversy in my beliefs. In college I founded a opposite student party that disagreed with the establishment and won the elections. In the campaign, I loved the thrill of a debate and represented my party. And now I am always surrounded by "vedic" astrology people that uses the sideral signs and I am always defying them, I actually find it very funny hahah
My 13º leo mars in the 2cond house don't demonstrate the knowledge part because it has a almost 100% aspect from jupiter in sagittarius at 15º (the 9th lord), and I think the effect it's that I always liked to study by myself, but the others are so true! Thank you so much, very interesting
