You mentioned International Driving Permit is only valid for one year. What when a person comes back to India renews the IDP instead of converting it to Japanese driving licence?

Yes that’s possible but I would recommend to get Japanese license as it has many benefits. I have made a separate video about it. Check that out

Sir, I have a driving license issued in 30/1/2024. But I didn't receive an IDP. What to do if I opt for receiving a license in Japan? I am flying there on 9th May, 2024.

Can we purchase and drive car for 1year with IDP obtained from India? And can we do some trick like instead of getting driving license from Japan every year when visiting India will get new IDP? Will that work 🤣 i know there should not be any loop holes but still if any chances by doing this.

I have one question, I will be moving to Japan next month, I have applied for driving permit. RTO ( Kanpur, UP ) said that they will give in single page format but my company has specifically mentioned that IDP should be in booklet format as accepted by Japanese authority. I am not sure if paper will work, can you please guide me on this

@@VikasdeepSingh bhaiji, I will be travelling to Sendai as an ALT, still the exact location has not been assigned but there might be schools where I have to drive to, due to unavailability of public transport from my place. So it's like a requirement by the dispatch company to bring IDP with me.I also have got my DL extract, as I am planning to stay in Japan, so that after a year I can apply for Japanese license too.

Buddy I went there and they asked me for a certificate from Indian driving authority. And also a translation of that certificate. Can you plea tell me about this.

Get translation done from JAC as I mentioned in the video. I am not sure about your issue that they need certificate form IDA. Check with them if attention from Indian embassy in Tokyo will work.

Yes, karna padega ye process as IDP just allow driving for around 1 year. Agar Japanese license chahiye to ye process hai hum Indians ke liye
