While I think there is considerable uncertainty regarding p-doom predictions, this guy is over-confident and wrong in so many ways. The over-positive manner in which he refers to the impact of AI on jobs is particularly telling. He seems to think that the world is populated almost entirely by highly educated people with high income who can easily figure out how to make their work more productive by incorporating AI. Makes me wonder which planet he lives in, as it's certainly not the same one where I live...

Pedro thinks there's no chance of what he calls machines becoming self-aware. And he thinks there's no regulation that should be applied to AI. BUT he does seem to be aware that humans could use AI to automatedly oppress others. Something about all of that doesn't add up.
