I have been rejected from all of my applications last year since I was applying for another major other than my bachelor's in a pandemic version of the application pool. That is what I can guess. Would you please talk about how we should use our rejections for future better applications?
@@dinasoltanitehrani2901 I'm sorry to hear that. It's harder to transition to a grad program outside of your undergrad, but not impossible. I recommend looking for internships or jobs in the field you want to transition to so you can build your experience before applying to grad school
Hello Lauren. Can one apply thru for a doctorate from BNS. That is assuming you find a school that offers a 5year course for bachelor level to obtain a doctorate, does the fulbright sponsor such?

I am British and would love to do my doctorate in the USA (I have my heart set on California, Texas, and a handful of Southern States, particularly Virginia and West Virginia). I'd like to research education and mental health from kids starting kindergarten to adults completing their PhD. Do you think I could get a Fulbright to the USA?
You want to convey why you are a good fit to be an ETA in that country. You need to demonstrate that you are culturally sensitive and someone who will be a good ambassador of the U.S. You also need to make a clear case for why that country and how teaching abroad fits into your goals.
I air quote it because people use it incorrectly. The term actually only applies to people who've already completed PhDs who apply specifically to the Fulbright Scholar program. However many students who do the US Student program refer to themselves as "Fulbright Scholars" incorrectly.

Yes they do. Generally the selection process is very long. For the US Student program it takes about 6 months.
