    Thank you to UD Racing’s stats for match www.tennis bull.com/match/5234. Due to time constraints, a 10-point tiebreaker was played for the third set and the prize was split $600/$400. Thank you to D1 Smooth and TO for being willing to play for their charity of choice.

    Amazing how D1 is so devoid of emotion while playing.

    Great match!! Loved the super tie break, super quality stuff especially from D2 to come back from 8-4 down to 8-8, played some very good tennis. Keep the vids coming!!!

    welcome back!!!
    What a great way to raise money for charity 👏
    T.O. had an advantage with his serve getting 6 "free" points and D1 Smooth struggled a bit with 8 double faults. It's always a bad feeling when you start a match with a double fault but he started the first 3 service games with a double fault. But T.O. gave away that advantage with 10 return errors.
    He also struggled with his backhand, at 14:46 he had a breakpoint but had 3 backhand errors in a row.
    He won 23/41 points at the net, but it worked better in the 1st set than the 2nd and 3rd.
    Both were as generous with their donations as their line calls.
    My favorite rally 22:43

      I agree- I think the missed returns was the ultimate difference in match. D1 is lefty so that may have added to extra errors.

    Great match for two really good causes; well done to all involved. D1 Smooth definitely wasn't at his best but still found a way to grind it out. Really missed the regular uploads from TT; hoping for more in 2024! 🤞🏻🎾

    After the slow start, I didn’t think D2 had a chance in this match. But as I kept watching, I learned he’s a better player than I thought at the start. Really upped the consistency level as the match went on.

    I almost did a double take when I saw you had posted a video. I understand life happens, but I hope you're back to posting regularly again. Great match, I was pumped for T.0 when he came back in the TB, but he just couldn't escape with the W.

    Why the ball striking sound is so different from the pro tour? It feels natural at Tennis Troll channel.

    • @TennisTrollChannel
      @TennisTrollChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t know the answer to that- from speculation, the microphones are farther away at a pro tournament due to court size and maybe that has something to do with it…?

    Good to see TT back and doing such a great charity match. Came down to the wire and some really fun points in there. I think having a little $$$ on the line created a bit of pressure for both. Was surprised at the serve and UE count and had to be nerves.

    • @TennisTrollChannel

      Agree- may not be as easy to hit a forehand/second serve when $ for a good cause is on the line.

    backhand let you down. Its good when its timed but when youre on the move or dont have time to set up its like you just dont get proper contact or something. Even if you do a half swing ir quarter swing i wish you would do it intentionally and at least make contact and send it over best you can. Once you do this it takes you few points to get your bh groove again.

      D1, D2, D3 isn’t a level. It’s based how many scholarships and sports a college offers.

  • @CHillTennisEntertainment
    @CHillTennisEntertainment ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This does not look like 5.0+ NTRP level to me. I would say 4.5 is probably more accurate.

  • @name-w1q
    @name-w1q ปีที่แล้ว

    D1? That's a stretch... no offense. You both look like very solid 4.5 players.
