BERLIN WALK | Volkspark Wilmersdorf to Schöneberg | Main streets and. side streets (HDR)

Today i walk in Wilmersdorf VOLKSPARK on the west side of the park.
Later main street and some side streets in Schöneberg Friedenau.
Volkspark Wilmersdorf is a green oasis in the heart of Berlin's Wilmersdorf district. This extensive park covers an area of around 20 hectares and offers a variety of leisure activities for residents and visitors. The park was created in the 1920s and has since developed into a popular recreational area.
Volkspark Wilmersdorf has numerous walking paths that lead through well-tended lawns and shady tree-lined avenues. A large pond with fountains forms the centerpiece of the park and invites you to linger and relax. For sports enthusiasts, there are several playgrounds and sports fields, including a football pitch, tennis courts and a boules court. In summer, the extensive meadows are ideal places for picnics and leisure activities.
The neighborhood surrounding Volkspark Wilmersdorf is equally attractive and diverse. The park borders several residential neighborhoods known for their old architecture and quiet streets. The nearby Blissestraße and Berliner Straße offer numerous shopping opportunities, cafés and restaurants that invite you to stroll and linger. Near to the park is Wilmersdorf Town Hall, an impressive neo-baroque building that serves as the district's administrative center.
The proximity to the Volkspark Schöneberg-Wilmersdorf is also worth mentioning, as it seamlessly connects to the Volkspark Wilmersdorf and considerably expands the green space. Together, these two parks offer an extensive recreational landscape that is perfect for long walks, bike rides and other leisure activities.
Volkspark Wilmersdorf and its surroundings are therefore an important part of urban life in Wilmersdorf. They not only offer a welcome break from hectic city life, but also numerous opportunities for sporting activities and social interaction.

Vielen Dank für den Spaziergang, ich habe meine Lieblingsorte wieder besucht, ich fühlte mich nostalgisch... Der Volkspark zeichnete sich schon immer durch wunderschön bepflanzte Blumenbeete aus... harte Arbeit, danke an die Gärtner... Ich habe in der Wilhelmsaue gearbeitet.
