Really nice idea but the constantly changing angles makes it hard to actually learn the dance

Hi Audrey Grace, you can learn this dance by enrolling in my beginner-friendly tutorial here: bit.ly/love-nat-king-cole The tutorial will break down each step in the choreography into little bitesize pieces before you start putting it together into choreography. All of the videos inside the tutorial will show you a full body view and the proper angles for learning. This is just a preview video to get you excited about what you could learn! I would highly encourage you to enroll if you are interested in learning this dance and how to execute all the moves properly. It's super affordable and quick to learn -- the average couple spends about two to five hours on one of my tutorials (TOTAL) depending on how long you spend on each section before moving on to the next. Best of luck to you! - Alex

the box step is hardly beginner but nice and simple, though.

Thanks for your feedback! The majority of my couples that I teach private lessons to in my studio are absolute beginners and I generally teach them the box step during the first lesson. I'd say 75% pick it up super easily with no issues, but there is a subset of students who definitely struggle with parts of it (usually timing it to their music or rotating the step.) That's why I make a point to break the step down into tiny bitesize pieces in my online tutorials so it's super easy to learn. Thanks for watching and for commenting! 🤗
