Its been about a month. How has your pen tip been holding up using the astropad screen protector? Ive been using the astropad with the included pentip. And i have to admit i do like the screen protector. But im super weary of the tip. I take it slow using it because i dont want to scratch the screen protector. Just curious what your experience has been like using the OG pentip on the new screen protector. Tip wear down much?

It's been holding up very well, actually! In my experience, the pencil tip is holding up better than it has with other paper feeling screen protectors. I love the feeling of this screen protector, but the initial deep scratches I caused are noticeable when drawing, unfortunately.

Bummer x.x I’ve been using a cheaper magnetic textured cover on top of my main screen protector. I think mines finally wearing out (not sticking as well as it did). I wonder what those nibs are like on the standard protective cover?

I’ve been interested in those magnetic covers! Do you find it makes the pencil less accurate or sensitive?

@PunkyDoodleArt I don’t think so- it feels pretty spot on for me ( I do have under protective cover, I do have to press just a tad harder, but not much for drawing). The one I’m using is “ESR for IPad Pro”; for the 12.9 it’s about $12.99 :)
(I’m pretty bad at aligning the covers on the iPad -so the magnetic one really helps XD I had a local shop put on the under regular screen protector since I kept messing up)
