I beg to differ on few things.
The word poly means more than one. Hence monomials cannot not be called as polynomials.
Also number 7 cannot be called as monomial as it is just a constant( a symbol with fixed value) , not a term (a term is essentially a combination of constants and variables).

No , see monomial has only 1 term binomonial has only 2 terma and you can identify it's as 5x ×4y is binomial

Take an e.g 4x+3y-2. if the whole trinomial is divided by some x or a or any other variable , will it still be a trinomial or become a monomial?
