I've just bought one off their website. Previously had a pretty solid and sturdy Vanguard Alta Pro and even though I had only used it 5 or 6 times since purchasing it it was already doing my head in lugging it around over farmers fields with a full Gomatic camera backpack because of how heavy it was. Anyway, last week I'd done a bit of photography of pylons in golden corn fields, walked back to my car and as I was putting stuff away it dropped about two feet off my car seat onto the ground. Went to pick it up and found the ball head had completely broken off the stem rendering it useless! About £175 down the drain. Decided to bite the bullet by buying something lighter but also hopefully better quality. Really disappointed the Vanguard could of broken so easily though.
Nice review. Had mine for a bit over a week and it is really amazing. Just a note that the 1/4" Arri mount is fairly tight by the legs, so you'll need a fairly small mounting plate. Not a big deal, just a heads up. Something like the Spider Crab is a bit too big. Again, great tripod, and I would agree that it was designed by and for photographers.
looks really really nice!! one question, is there a way to completely lock in your camera, because to me it seems to be easy knocking it off by accidentally hitting the quick release lever
i have multiple F38 and F50 base plates that have the lever. the lever does not lock, but it is impossible to move by accident. it is spring loaded and requires significant force to move.
Excellent review. Thank you Sir. Point to note, your voice sounds familiar, have you ever worked for British Rail? Joke joke... Great review, you covered everything. Thanks again.
Hi, thanks for a great review. Is it possible to buy this tripod in the UK. If not do you know which country it will be shipped from and how long the delivery time is please?
Hi if you order direct from Ulanzi/Falcam it usually fairly fast, mine took approx. 5 working days if I remember. At the minute they are giving you a $100 off until the 18th June also. www.ulanzi.com/products/treeroot-quick-lock-travel-tripod-t00a4301
Is there a UK supplier? the link above goes to a US site so there will be import duty VAT and handling charges to add which can push the price up by 30% plus.
All European orders come from their 'German Warehouse' even though you are on the USA site (there's a section on their website about it, I've just bought one myself).
You claimed that this is your favorite tripod ever. I think you want to correct this to: this is my favorite ‘travel’ tripod ever. Obviously a heavier more fully featured studio tripod which is also cheaper would overall have to be ones favorite tripod out of all tripods but I can understand that this is your favorite travel tripod. Besides this questionable assertion, I found your review to be professional and compelling.
So you're able to decide on behalf of others what they deem to be their favourite? Regardless of what class this tripod falls under, if it's his favourite one to use, then it's his favourite.

I watched 3 other video review of this tripod and by far you review was the most detailed, unbiased and very useful. Thanks for the great review.

Looks brilliant, I just ordered one. Can't wait to field test it and maybe going to sell at least one of my other many pods.
Amazing content! Cheers!

@@TheCameraManReviews Brilliant. Thanks for your prompt reply. Much appreciated. 👍🙂
Hi there is no discount for the option with ball head. Still $499. Can confirm?
Can the ball head be exchanged by another head at this tripod?
you can buy it without the ballhead and universal ballhead mount.
With a Sony 70-200 mm lens lots of shake with center pole extended. Need 10 sec delay.

blimey hastings not far from me shame it would have been cool for a collab
