This is why I got on people over "dog the bounty hunter" that was looking for Brian Laundrie. Any family with a missing person, alive or dead, or criminal out there that needs to be apprehended would WANT a big name for attention. They don't care if that person also might be getting some fame out of it.... as long as that person is doing their best to get the answers they are looking for.
It infuriates me people crap on these people but add ZERO to the ability of people to get help.

I was in an abusive relationship/marriage for 20 years. We have 2 sons together. He stole 1000's of dollars, vehicles etc. His drugs and alcohol were more important than family. I stayed with him because I knew I would lose everything. He brought a woman home, that gave me the strength to leave. I got the most important part of the relationship, my sons. That was 3 and 1/2 years ago, yes I lost everything! My home, furnishings, my car, even my dishes. He cleared me out. I'm a disabled RN, I have a muscle and joint disease. All this time later, I still just have my boys. I haven't been able to dig us out yet. But the good news is that we know God is keeping us safe along the way. And the sense of freedom and family is the best feeling in the world!! Some day we'll have a home again and praying everything else falls into place. Thankyou guys for bringing awareness of abuse. It's super hard to tell anyone your story. But, the freedom in your heart and mind is glorious! No more fear!

There's a group of people in Mexico who track down the hidden and unmarked graves of missing friends and family. Very inspiring and also very upsetting. It's mostly women going out in the scorching desert in remote places to locate and dig for the discarded remains of their kidnapped and murdered husbands and children.
The sheer impact that they have in their communities, and their success rate of recovery and identification of remains is incredible. Selflessness alone might not outweigh injustice, but in their case they sure are giving injustice one hell of a beating.
Their story gains more traction every day, maybe one day they can inspire change and action in South Africa.

Sadly it’s not always that easy. Some women don’t have the resources to leave. I was raised in it so i can relate. More police departments need to take it more seriously, as well as there needs to be more safe places for these women and children. Education needs to be taught to young people about domestic violence, it s not always being hit or yelled at. So it’s easy to say just run but it’s difficult when your in it. 😔

Started watching you through Adventures With Purpose. Interesting how "regular" folk can circumvent the red tape. Be proud of everything you have put out there, from making the environment better, to dreams coming true with giveaways, but especially in the awareness of abuse, and closure to different aspects of Susan's case. One thing, I did just watch a TH-cam video of an interview with one of her children...they think "mommy stayed" in a certain location. Just wondering if you saw that too. Keep up the good work and blessings to you all.

I was actually in a situation close to Susan’s, my abusive ex was really crazy but I couldn’t take off the rose tinted glasses until one day I almost lost my sanity. I ended up using the army to leave and broke up with her because I was scared to see anything else. She was trying to have kids to lock me into the relationship but I was having mental breakdowns because I’m too young and too broke for kids. I would go into more detail but I’d rather not just due to exactly what happened in the relationship.
Fast forward to today, I’m doing well, I hadn’t heard of Susan’s case until last month when I started to just think about it. If anyone here feels like they’re stuck spinning their wheels in a bad situation, it will get better, just do what’s best for you. You are worth it and you deserve it. The army taught me something invaluable to what I was thinking, and that’s that other people are hiding that they’re literally going through the same hardships in a different way. They may be less effected or more effected based on how they process it, but essentially, we are relatable enough to work though our pains together. I just thought I’d drop this here to share my story, since this channel has been helping me to feel that more caring people aren’t all that hard to find

You guys are just amazing but having a missing/murdered mom since 1999, it is so real what they have to do when her remains are found I’ve been crying through this whole process. Awp searched for her in Aug but didn’t find her yet! I am LDS so this case means even more to me. I pray Susan is found and my mom but I know we will be with them again no matter what in Heaven.

One thing comes to mind when you mention searching the canal - Adventures with purpose. They find missing people, cars and boats underwater might be worth speaking to them for help maybe? They're a great bunch of guys

I'm praying hard that you get a viable lead quickly and are able to find her very soon. Enough is enough for this family.
God bless you for your efforts, your hearts, and caring. God speed your recovery of this woman ❤❤❤
