Being able to be there to workshop this song from the scaffolds up (since you came to me with an instrumental and a vague theme AHAHA) was such a wonderful experience.
It feels like the time spent working on this song kind of echoes the themes of learning patience itself AHAHA
You have no idea how stumped I was- given that this was my first time writing lyrics!! and not just an essay to extracted into lyrics, but actually lyrics. It was scary, and very confronting; And it took me FOREVER to feel ready to put words on paper, so in that sense, I also had to be patient with myself. You also had to be patient with me, and I am very grateful for it🙇♀

The lyrics are well done, some parts are quite abstract and every time you listen you understand the meaning a little better.
