Hello Ludo. Greetings from Prague 🇨🇿 I have been watching your videos for quite some time and I have finally booked my trip to Lagos 🇳🇬 to experience your wonderful country. I will be visiting Makoko, Lekki, Badagry and all those places I have only seen in videos. However, I have a question which I was hoping you could answer. I will be arriving at Murtala Muhammed Airport on a Saturday night (10pm). Is there a way for me to obtain naira at that hour? Keep up the good work and have a happy new year Ludo! 🎉
Oh, broda, the other question I have is how "solid" is the deed/title for such a place? Is it a temporary site? Is the government going to come and bulldoze that community as they seem to be doing elsewhere in Lagos, abuja, etc? Is it worth considering an alternative like getting use of nearby school premises since it is an after school program?? I don't know the area at all, so that could be naive and/or not feasible. Cheers.
aya, I wish i could answer that... it took me several days to try it o... Man it is not solid, I mean it is solid as long as it is here... maybe 2 months, more surely 2 to 5 years, maybe 10 or 20, who knows... you need some balls to do like baba yaro, and millions of people who invest the few they have knowing the government can take it tomorrow...
As I was watching, I had a paradoxical experience. I was happy to see children thriving, while at the same time I was unhappy to see children living in such impoverished conditions.
HI LUDO .LOVED THE VLOG . WOULD LOVE TO HELP .BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY MEANS OF DONATEING TO MR BABAYARO WITH HIS PROJECT .RESPECT FOR HIM .THE CHILDREN WELL MANNEREDAND THEY SURELY CAN DANCE .BLESSINGS MUCH ♥
This video looks different from the one you did with African Tigress and that traditionalist, the one shown on AT channel. Looks like you went back alone.
yes you are right, I went once there with tigress, however i go there myself more often, and most of the images have been shot another day. I built several projects with these kids in the past and will still build more
Thank you. I remember you visited Ebute Bariga a couple of years ago. Life goes on there ... on land made of plastic bottles. Mr. Babayaro is doing his best for the children. I didn't quite get the reason for the few million Nairas land transaction. Is it something about thousand euros.
he bought the land 3.5 millions nairas, then had to spend 1.5 to add soil, saw dust and other things to reinforce the ground. Now the idea is to build up the mail building, he will need approximately 7 millions for that. 3500 to 4000 dollars.
