A little tip for those who may purchase this one. If you don’t like it at first, let it sit. I purchased mine about 8 months ago and disliked it. Now that it has sat for a while, it’s much better and I’m glad I didn’t declutter it.
@@lanaw7304 basically it just means to spray it a few times to introduce some air into the bottle, and then just put it in a cool dark place for a while. Sometimes fragrances that have been recently blended/created need time to sit…kind of like wine lol. I’ve had a few fragrances that I didn’t really care for at first, but once I let them sit for a while, the notes had time to become friends and the fragrance improved.
It is indeed very similar to zara rose gourmand(spot on dupe for roses vanille), its slightly more fruity less dense & more metallic, lasts slightly more than zara, projects much better than zara.
Thank you for this review. This will be my next buy. Martin , do you think I can layer barakkat satin oud with shaghaf oud? Or do you have any layering idea for it?
Omg, yesss! I have the original oud Satin Mood and I love to layer it for example with Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, Sheikh Al Shuyukh, Roses Vanille by Mancera, Perpetual Oud by Zara and many more. Layering is all about experimenting ✨
thank you so much for this detailled video! - Not only do you look sophisticated but one can immediately tell you know your stuff! I will defenitely try the Fragrance and subscribe!
Just got a bit of time and I wanted to catch up on your videos, thank you so so much for your kind words Martin, you made be blush 🌠🤗❤ Loved hearing your thoughts on the fragrance!
Thank you for this presentation. I have this and did not like it at all. The bottle is beautiful. I am going to give it another try. I’ll let it sit for awhile and revisit 😊
I love the way u reviews it. Im from Singapore and it’s a hype for Lattafa perfumes. Can do a review of any lattafa chocolate similar gourmand perfume frm lattafa or other arabic brands?

I hear that a lot and I had that situation a few times already. After letting the fragrances sit and macerate for a while the scents overall change.
Thank you❤
What do you mean by letting it sit?

@@malvikasharma3044 thanks for the reply, I do like it but find it metallic, will let it sit for a month & see if it changes.
As far as I know, Pierre Montale created every single Montale and Mancera fragrance, and all of them from what I heared...
