It's been a VERY long time since I mixed songs aha, so I had to make this one extra special. I am pleased to finally present my 7-song mashup of Dreamcatcher's EDM, Synth and Trance hits, alongside other genres: Starlight, Whistle, Poison Love, Can't Get You Out of My Mind, In the Frozen, Silent Night and July 7th, featuring a portion of Sleep-walking's instrumental. I call it the "Celestial Desires" which I will explain in a bit!
The songs present are definitely my favorite genres in K-pop. Personally, these songs have the feeling of "longingness," both instrumental and lyrics-wise. I want to praise Leez and Ollounder, Dreamcatcher's consistent producer since Nightmare era, as well as the producers of these songs, for always giving DC good music in general. It's already Dreamcatcher's signature track along with their classic rock + [another genre] title tracks.
I call it the Celestial Desires because of the "longing" vibe that was put into each song; a desire to long for someone between time and space. Another important note is that the lyrics always talk about stars and galaxies; comparing the longingness to how far celestial bodies are, which is a metaphor that always interests. Lastly, their 2022 Season Greetings, Celestial Dreams, helped upon building the idea as well as pairing good video clips to the fanmade music video I also made.
On another note, I have a channel branding now! (The intro and typeface) which will also be used in my later contents!
