Hi, Tam, I am beyond happy that you liked the box! The video is so much fun! 😊 😊 😊 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD ONE!!! Birch water is literally trees „blood“, that feeds it. They dig a hole in the trunk and collect water drop by drop. Its very limited, otherwise the tree will die. Fried bread is number 1 snack in Lithuania. Any cafe, any party, any grocery store- you will find it in huge amounts. It goes great with beer as well😉
Ah, the only unfortunate thing about these is that if you're local, you get these biscuit treats relatively soft, especially the Šakotis branch biscuit cake. All of these are absolutely delicious, a wonderful selection of what people actually snack on here in Lithuania.
Thanks so much Balinda. I do genuinely get so excited over trying new snacks. I love my food. There are a lot of food channels out there and to be honest sometimes I look at how well they are doing and feel a little discouraged but I just have to remind myself why I make these videos.
If you ever get the chance to, you need to try Romanian snacks, as a Romanian living in Ireland, I haven’t had much access to Romanian foods except if I order them online but they are so good
I am sure they are amazing being in Australia means it is so difficult to get snacks from some countries I have in the past tried to order things from some countries with no luck.
I am from Lithuania (living in Germany) and I enjoyed watching you try Lithuanian food and liking most or should I say all of it SO much!😍 I just giggled and shared with my momma how cute it was when you sipped from the water and said you were reminded of your childhood and jokingly added: When you were a little lithuanian girl! My heart just melted🥰😂I also loved it how many times the word "magical" appeared in this video - for some reason it made me really happy you could feel the magic in lithuanian snacks, haha😄
I enjoyed this video! I lived in Kaunas, Lithuania for 12 years. The fried bread is so very tasty when fresh. I recognized some of the items but some must be new. My husband is there now and will be bringing some food items back. Our town had a candy factory in it so when we drove around town in the summer time the air smelled like chocolate!! Loved it!
"Looks like Jason's mask." Imagine horror movie characters getting their own chips. Freddy claw chips, Leatherface chainsaw chips, Michael Myers knife chips, you name it.
Hi Brian it was really interesting to try Lithuanian treats and they are so different from the stuff we get here. Hope you are having a good week. We are in lockdown again here in Sydney
@@CheekyTam hi tam hope you and tim are OK my niece lives in Victoria and they was in complete lockdown a few weeks ago . Its a shame it has reached nsw stay safe and don't forget if you go out put your new face masks on lol take care . Uncle Brian
@@CheekyTam I'm debating whether to try and make homemade scones for the first time . I do make mean chocolate and orange fairy cakes 🎂 and lovely coconut ones too mmmmm
I absolutely love all your video been watching for along time and you always make my heart happy I can count on your videos to bring smiles to my face even when I have had a hard day I struggle with anxiety and your videos help a lot keep being the amazing soul u are
Not tried Lithuanian food before so cool to see some of it. Dont know if id like the dark chocolate one but tig definitely would! The croutons look good. Nomeda looks delicious! The one at 8.50 looked really quirky. Great taste test!
16:39 That's an iconic sweet from 90-ties "Meška šiaurėje", what means "Bear in the north". As well with the "Pineapple" they were the best rare and expensive sweets at that time.
Happy birthday, Tam! May your life be blessed with all the good things: health, happiness and strength! I absolutely love your videos! I always watch them and I look forward to them! Hope that you managed to have a lovely day! ♥♥♥
Thanks with so many products to review the longer video was essential and so much to talk about. I was so impressed with this box of treats and enjoyed making this video so much. There is a percentage of people that just don't watch when my videos are too long but that's okay
I died inside when I saw that when I was editing haha I'm just glad it disappeared or I would have had to dig a big hole in the backyard and climb on into it.
@1:39 this treat kinda reminds me of the rice crispy treats that we got from vending machines when I was in high school !!! Very homemade look and it was wrapped in cellophane and it came in vanilla or chocolate varieties. Have you noticed how some dark chocolate bars have a sour ish taste to them when the percentage of dark chocolate is higher than lest say 70 percent ( Lindt 70 percent for example ) ?? I dont like that at all, I like dark chocolates with high percentage that dont have the sour ish taste to them. @7:10 that dry fruit looks like a date to me. @11:39 LOL such an innocent face and tone there LOL . I love coffee flavoured chocolates and desserts !!! Another awesome video :)
Yes I have definitely noticed that sour taste to some of the dark chocolates and I do prefer milk chocolate but every now and then I have a craving for some super dark chocolate. So much to love about making taste test videos and trying things we've never had before.
John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

13:15 lol you read that upside down, it called "pupa" ("bean" in Lithuanian, as in cofee bean).
It is fried bread with garlic, not dried. It is so strange to lithuanians that no countries make fried bread as a snack.
Are you for real im Lithuanian į thauth that people make it
I so wish I could eat sweets and crisps, but I really enjoy watching you eating it for me Tam. Love your videos. Thanks for the entertainment.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment I really do appreciate it.

Seems Lithuanian's like dark chocolate. All the treats look tasty. Thanks Karina. 🙂
Yes I think that darker chocolate is more popular in some countries.
Nah, milk chocolate is very popular in Lithuania. I think it's more popular than dark one.

I once was celebrating my birthday with fried bread I made at home and some beers. And with few good guys. Simple, but tasty as hell.

Thanks Tam. Oh yum! Let's go visit Lithuania and eat treats for a week!🥰
Sounds like a solid plan. We currently can't even leave our own state here in Australia let alone leaving the country.
Love this video

Your hair looks gorgeous today!
Thanks so much my usually when I make a video it is a bad hair day LOL but I have the occasional good one usually when I'm at home with no plans.
@@CheekyTam Always that way! Lol 😆
You would loves sakotis if it was fresh made. The usual we get in bakery. Its the best and easy to break
its quite funny how everyone's reaction to oho chips is super positive, while they are like 3 or 4 times cheaper than any other chips around here
