    Yes, all you say is true. With the help of this Ranger 600 I was able to fly a good 3-channel aeroplan yesterday (for the first time in my life, I'm 65 years old and disabled). The propeller is securely mounted on the back of the plane and the low weight ensures that this plan cannot be destroyed. And it is a good glider, also. I was on a place / field without trees and other obstacles, nearly no wind. It's Interesting that you can use a larger battery with 600 mAh , but the original 400 mAh batteries are not bad for a longer flight, I just changed them sometimes. See you in the air

    I’m a complete new flyer.. I took this plane on the field today and loved every minute. Amazing first time flyer plane ! Makes me want to upgrade allready lol. But I’ll get many happy hours from this plane before hand. Thanks for this video

    This is my first fixed wing plane. Took it out today and had an absolute blast. Crashed on my first couple of fights and had to climb a chain link fence into the city pool after close, but such is the life of an RC pilot.
    Despite some rough handling it flew beautifully still and I got a good 40 minutes of flying out of the 2 included batteries. I'll play with this thing for a few more months before moving up to a 4ch plane.
    Normally I'm a quadcopter guy, so this was an interesting new challenge.

    Very informative video, thanks a lot! Most youtubers just post videos of flying and provide no information apart from "nice plane". Keep it up!!

    Sheesh man. I've ordered the Phoenix and I'm hoping my plane doesn't have all the issues that your Volantex planes seem to have!
    Great video. They're always super comprehensive. As a budding videographer, my videos focus on the fluff and vroom stuff of life and recently rc, so I really appreciate videos like yours that go to extreme lengths to get into the nitty gritty of a product.

    • @ArxangelRC
      @ArxangelRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks mate, appreciate it! In general Volantex use crappy electronics... sadly... and I have not been able to convince them otherwise!

    • @nickhayley
      @nickhayley 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArxangelRC I suppose it's how they keep their prices down. They might not see themselves as anything but a budget niche product. So, Ive been flying the Phoenix (as per my latest videos) and I'm having a crap load of fun. It's the biggest plane I own and it's just a joy. I just fly with 3S 2200mAh batteries and take 4 at a time with me. I'll need more, methinks!
      Take care and keep zipping about in your imiev, bother!
      Take care,
      Nick

    A shame the board burnt out, we were all looking forward to a nice cloud chasing video from this little plane! 😁😁😁

    • @ArxangelRC
      @ArxangelRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahahahahaha, well... in order to do cloud chasing with this... it would definitely not have been with these electronics anyway... so... in that case it would have made no difference!

    Nice video.
    Honestly, I have both the Ranger 600 and Ranger 400, both are using the same electronics.
    On a calm day, the 600 is pretty good, as it has bigger wing surface can glider better.
    However, if the wind slightly stronger, it's does not have enough power to fight against the winds, on the opposite side the 400 can challenge the wind much better.
    The choice is yours, or like me, buy both of these.. LOL

    Those milk bottle plastic fuselages are just indestructible. My buddy rammed one into the ground after a full power looping and there was no damage at all :D.. Its so sad that the 600 doesnt have that

    • @ArxangelRC
      @ArxangelRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the fuselage material is awesome! I have two full throttle vertical crashes with a Ranger EX... straight into the ground... and it is still flyable... barely any damage, given the severity of the impact!

    Hello! I have a question:
    1) do you have a video explaining how you get the rssi value on an omnibus f4 v3 pro from an r9m slim + ?
    Tanks in advance, have a nice day!

    • @ArxangelRC
      @ArxangelRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I do not have such a video! As far as I can remember, the Slim + had an RSSI output, correct? There is a pad on the F4 for the RSSI, that you need to solder a wire to... but not sure how it should work for v3! I know for sure it works for v2.1!

    Flys quite fast for a beginner. Too small for a glider.
    Try a Multiplex Easy Glider!

    • @ArxangelRC
      @ArxangelRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might looks fast at some points in the video, but it can slow down too!

      Yep. At the current prices the Ranger G2 is way better value. It is PNF and well over the 250 gram limit but if that is a problem the Volantex V761-4 Sport Cub and Volantex V761-5/Eachine Mini Mustang P51D from places like Banggood are still better value and 4 channel!
