- Thomas and Robbe get excited about the New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro v6. It looks cool as hell and provides a ton of comfortability, which isn't a real word, but Robbe insists on using it to describe shoes. Good for light to medium trails, and wearing with a pair of jeans. Drop is 8 mm (28 in heel, 23 in toe). Releases 2/1/2021 for $135.

I just bought these today at REI. They were $140 . Felt so soft on my feet, like wearing slippers. I guess I missed out on the release for these in 2020? just watched the video today 5/19/2022. I have been using Brooks Cascdia 16's and i will keep them for heavy trails/mud,These HierroV6's will excel at "being 1 1/2 miles from the trail and needing to run on pavement to get there."....just like in the video. Good job guys! You know your product. Keep up the great reviews!

Love the gtx version of this shoe for walking around the city in the winter. Great for rain, slush and light snow. Looks good and comfortable. Obviously not ideal for super cold days, but will work down to about -5C with warmer socks.
I was hoping for this review and would love another one after some 50/100 miles done in the shoe. My first ever trail shoe and one I did my first ultra in (and still wear from time to time for walks) was the NB Leadville. I did close to a 1k km in it and the megagrip outsole saw very little wear. The shoe was super comfortable and to this day is my point of reference. The previous hiero versions didn't convince me, but this one looks promising

I like trailrunning if it is not to rough. Always point out mid cushion mid flex shoe.? Color for indentification. Build. Walk run shoe. No to evil.

one feedback, it will help if you could wear it and show, not while running, just standing and walking.
Thanks for the review guys. I tried version 5 of this shoe, not flexible at all. I think it was because of the uniform shape of the outsole. I hope this one has more flexibility with it.
Still uniform but we didn't have issues with flex
I really like how this shoe feels but the thickness of the tongue bothers the top of my foot
